Regular workshops for the youth company, supporting their learning in preparation for performance and participation in the local music festival. Meeting twice each week to rehearse and instruct members in readiness for planned performances. Attending local institutions - church, convalescent homes, hospices - to provide entertainment for residents/members and to promote the profile of WMCS.

The Trust maintains a museum at 19 New King Street, Bath, where William Herschel lived and from where he discovered the planet Uranus. The Trust owns the property comprising 19 New King Street and is actively involved in the provision of education of the public about the life and times of William Herschel and about astronomy generally.

The advancement of amateur sport, specifically watersports including; canoeing, skiffing, rowing and dragon boating. The charity has focused on making enhanced provision of facilities for children and young people and disadvantaged groups

Clifton All Whites Football Club will provide football training, matches, tournaments, clinics, camps, recreation, education, research and facilities that serve the all year round needs of local people, in a positive and supportive environment, staffed by well trained local individuals who will welcome participants of all skill levels, ancestry, ethnicity and gender, an all-inclusive Football Club

The charity hires out its facilities for use by its members and those living in the local area. The institute building hosts such activities as line dancing and ballroom dancing as well as being available for private functions such as parties. The provision and maintenance of a Village Hall, Green and Recreation ground for the use of the inhabitants of Beech and the immediate surroundings. Specifically, for the purposes of lectures, meetings, classes, physical recreation, leisure activities and all other forms of recreation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of Beech and its environs.

The Mytchett Centre is a community association with halls that can be hired, The sports field have two football pitches used throughout the football season, out of season the football fields are used for local events, children, (kick about, rounder, soft ball cricket, )The type of use Play school, sports, weddings, plays, Big Band Nights, Dancing, and a yearly firework night celebration

The charities activities are to provide for Denby Dale and the surrounding neighbourhood premises for meetings, lectures, classes and other recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants.

A learning cooperative for retired people, enabling its members to share many educational, creative and leisure activities.
