The objectives of the charity provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation.

Promoting comprehensive integrated public transport networks and more effective local and regional bus networks; making people more aware of existing sustainable transport options; supporting groups and individuals promoting and protecting local bus networks and sutainable transport; and promoting car-free access and sustainable transport to leisure and tourism attractions.

Provision of a nursery and to provide facilities for the care, recreation and education of children.

Provide village hall for use of residents of Bradley parish at subsidised rates for leisure and educational purposes. Gives grants to organisations in Bradley and some individual educational grants. All grants strictly limited to residents of Bradley parish.

In its first period of operation the charity ran the ?One in a Million? campaign with the target of raising ?150,000 via a host of fundraising events and activities spanning the whole of the 2011-12 football season. The Charity intends to continue its annual fund raising activities for annually selected charities.

1. To promote for the benefit of the community the reopening of the Cotswold Canals.2. To promote the restoration of the two waterways to give a balance between the needs of navigation, development, recreation, heritage, landscape conservation, wildlife and natural habitats.3. Our projects are based on themes in health, education, inclusion, sports participation, training & employment, regeneration & community safety.

The charity provides a range of services to support older people including:Wellbeing activities, Physical activity opportunities, Social day centres, Information advice & guidance, community navigation, befriending, footcare, hot meals delivery, dementia support for carers, independent living service, clubs for people with dementia, dementia day care.

Provide social and sporting activities for the local inhabitants of the area with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants

SPORTS AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES WITH CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE FROM DEPRIVED AREAS

The Alvechurch FC Community Foundation aims to provide opportunities to participate in healthy recreation, particularly football and other sports capable of promoting physical health and fitness. The provision of these recreational and leisure activities aim to provide a better quality of life for those in need.

Hackney Marsh Partnership (HMP) is a community development organisation based on the Kingsmead Estate in Hackney. It works with local people to provide a range of services to the community including activities for young people and children, advice services, volunteering opportunities, and other activities for education, training, and recreation for people of all ages.

Our Trust provides social, sporting and other activity facilities and fund raising opportunities to a wide range of local clubs. Our operating hub is the Great Baddow Millennium Community Centre situated on our local recreation ground. BALLET AND DANCE CLASSES ARE HELD FOR YOUNGER CHILDREN AS WELL AS THEATRICAL TRAINING. SPORTS AND KEEP FIT ACTIVITIES FORM AN IMPORTANT PART OF OUR ACTIVITIES.REVENUE IS EARNED FROM ROOM HIRE AND PROVISION OF FACILITIES TO EXTERNAL ORGANISATIONS.
