To provide for the inhabitants of Sunderland and its surrounding area in the interest of social welfare facilities for bowling,cricket,hockey,rugby football,squash,tennis,and other healthy recreation and leisure time occupation irrespective of ability and with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

The objects are for the benefit of the public to promote community participation in football, to provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities and to advance the education of children and young people whether or not undergoing formal education.

The Charity awards grants to young tennis players who aspire to become professional competitive players.

City of Southampton Swimming Club promotes community participation in healthy recreation, primarily but not exclusively, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Southampton. We teach swimming at our Otters swimming school and provide coaching and competitive opportunities for children and young adults. We have an active Masters programme and support para-swimming.

Barn Elms Sports Trust (BEST) is a charitable trust dedicated to preserving Barn Elms Playing Fields, an open space in Barnes SW13 9SA in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames [LBRUT]. During the course of 2012 LBRUT decided to allow communities to manage their local sites. BEST was awarded a licence to manage Barn Elms from the beginning of September 2012 on a not for profit basis.

We run a community centre for local people, offering meeting facilities for local residents free of charge, adult learning and training classes/sessions, fitness classes, social club/bingo and in school holidays play schemes for children and young people. We have many contacts with local organisations and provide sign posting information on a wide variety of social issues from health to job ops

To improve the health and wellbeing of the residents of Tottenham and the immediate surrounding areas by the provision of sports and community facilities.

The charity operates the following activities. A charity shop and office that enables users of the service to gain work experience of working within a protected retail environment. The charity opertaes a voluntary weekly recreational disco event. Accomodation provision for learning disabled individuals.

YMCA has a homeless hostel for young men aged 16-35 with ongoing support. We also provide a centre based community centre which offers a range of facilities which includes a computer suite, climbing wall, gym facilities and training rooms. YMCA Port Talbot offers a range of services which includes education/training, sporting, health/fitness and cultural activities.

Develop essential life skills and self-confidence through learning, living and working for people for with learning difficulties and associated disabilities: We do this by providing realistic opportunities in the local area and real environments - a community Caf?, various evening and day activities, an FA Chartered status football team and a ?club? for social needs within a community setting.

(1) providing scholarships to Beneficiaries to learn about the practices and techniques employed in different parts of the world and to develop best-practices based upon this learning; and(2) providing a forum for the exchange and dissemination of information among Beneficiaries about agricultural, horticultural, fishing and countryside management best practices and related information.

For the public benefit, the relief of those in need by reason of disability by the provision of day activities for adults, over the age of 18 years, in the county of Staffordshire, in particular the provision of structured activities related to education, leisure and work-preparation.

We are a group of volunteers who have taking over the running of the local community centre on a estate in Corby which has 10% deprevation. In side the facility we have a Community Cafe, SureStart Childrens Centre, Youth Club a large sports hall which we hire out the facilty for different activities such as football, Table Tennis, Karate and many more.

The Charity's objectives are to promote the general advancement of agricultural forestry and horticulture through providing exhibitions, technical education and scientific investigations and other such means. This is achieved mainly through the annual one day show, this provides education and training in all aspects of farming, cultivation and management of land and allied trades.

North Ilford Islamic Centre is a non-governmental and non-political organisation. The objectives are to establish a Centre for the benefit of Muslims, to advance Islam and advance education generally and to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or leisure time occupation for the inhabitants of North Ilford and the surrounding area in the interest of social welfare.

To promote,develop and advance home/school/community partnership activities which meet the educational,social,health,recreational,cultural,linguistic and safety needs in the member schools of the Handsworth Association and their communities.To develop a collaborative approach to the Association's plan for school improvement and development.

TO PROVIDE FOR THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH CRICKET AND CRICKET INSTRUCTION AT ARUNDEL AND ELSEWHERE.

MS Research and Relief Fund supports MS groups in Morpeth, Jarrow, Durham, Berwick and Newcastle. We provide complementary therapies which are free of charge to people with MS and their primary carers, in addition we have accessible exercise classes, Tai Chi and a "fitness lounge" where people can use toning tables, MotoMed exercise machines and a vibrogym.
