The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation, primarily but not exclusively, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Manchester and the surrounding areas by the provision of facilities for swimming and associated events.

The charities activities include but are not exclusive to promoting playing football in and around the Coalville area. Organising fund raising events to facilitate the playing of football either competitively or socially among the local population. Activities concentrate but are not exclusive to young people.

The primary aim of the trust is to provide shelter, warmth, food and sanctuary to sick, ill treated and abused animals that have been subjected to factory farming or sport. It will also provide holistic respite to people with disabilities who may find it difficult to access mainstream facilities. it also aims to educate people in these issues and the importance of animal health and healthy eating.

To advance the education of young people in North Shields and the surrounding area by providing the opportunity and facilities for playing Association football and other sports capable of improving health.

Burmantofts Senior Action mission is to enhance the lives of older people aged 60 plus in and around LS9 East Leeds. BSA has a focus on improving the quality of peoples' lives by helping them to live independently in their own homes, reduce social isolation, loneliness and assist with individual support with weekly activities such as lunch clubs and fitness groups.

The Charity is the umbrella organisation for a multi -sports community sports club and has circa 3500 members. The Charity holds a long lease of its grounds and sports facilities.

CAFLO sports & community centre is based in Bromford, Hodge Hill, an area in the top 1% of deprivation in Birmingham. The centre provides spaces for (A)meetings, lectures & classes, (B) different forms of sports, recreation and leisure-time,(C) food bank, mental wellbeing and chat clubs with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants.

Brighton Permaculture Trust:- runs 40 courses a year in permaculture, fruit growing, horticulture, sustainable design and building- runs community events celebrating the seasons - plants traditional orchards for communities and schools- manages 4 organic orchards in Brighton- provides volunteering opportunities for over 350 volunteers

Lifeskills is a safety education Centre built as a realistic village. Its approach is interactive and bridges the gap that exists between knowledge and behaviour. It is designed to help people learn about safety in a fun and practical way, specifically in the home, on the road and during leisure time.

OAKS operates three settings in Leominster, Herefordshire, Daisy Chain Pre-School, Honey Bees Day Nursery and Honey Bees @ Leominster Leisure Centre - full time and term time care is catered for. We provide childcare and education to children aged: 3months - 5yrs in nursery and occasionally provide holiday care. We welcome all children into our inclusive play based learning environments.

The advancement of education of students at University College Birmingham for the public benefit by promoting their interests & welfare during study; being the recognised representative channel between students & UCB; & providing representation, support & advice, as well as social, cultural, sporting & recreational activities & forums for discussions & debate for their personal development.

The work of the Centre as a community anchor is carried out by a team of staff and volunteers, who deliver services to the local area to meet the needs of local people. Current activities improve the fitness and health, provide food for those in poverty, deliver early years education, improve life skills and employment opportunities and reduce isolation of local older people.

The CVYP Ltd work with young people 8-19 yrs and up to 25 yrs for young people with special needs. We have many projects i.e. music, mountain biking, archery, all sports, outdoor ed and youth work.We work closely with local schools/colleges, multiple agencies, NCC and the DofE Award scheme as well as the John Muir Awards. In addition CVYP has a leased off- site expedition centre in Kielder.
