Upkeep of community building, holding of village events, hiring of hall for community purposes (sport, social, meetings, etc)

We provide a venue to facilitate a range of social, recreational and educational activities, together with community functions and events for the residents of West Meon and surrounding villages.

Congresbury War Memorial Hall is the home for the following:Memorial Hall Mixed and Teams,Monday and Thursday Badminton Teams,Zumba Classes,Bingo evening, Congresbury Singers Rehearsal sessions, Weston Brass Rehearsal Room,Social Club,Book Sale Location,Morris Men Rehearsal locationExercise ClassesStreetdance classes,Airmodellers meeting and flying practice

Providing facilities for a rural community, visiting post office twice weekly, doctor's surgery, keep fit, bowling, badminton, amateur dramatics, and for private use for parties, wedding receptions and other use for local organisations such as the church for jumble sales and whist and euchre drives.

The introduction to young people of activities associated with maritime details, including various types of boating, canoeing, kayacking, sailing. pulling. power boating. Interspersed with engineering, cooking, DofE awards, discipline etc

Affiliated groups meet on a regular basis, including guides, brownies, rainbows. There are exercise classes, keep fit, pilates, ki aikido, cycling, also sequence dancing, children's dance classes, slimming classes, craft groups and autism group. Other classes include dog training, over 60's and a Church Group. Rooms are also rented out for socials, parties and meetings.

The Great Missenden Memorial Centre (GMMC) is a memorial to the men and women of the parish who have died in war. We run the day to day operation of GMMC as a recreational facility for the inhabitants of Great Missenden and the surrounding area. In addition we are responsible for the internal upgrading and refurbishment of the centre.

Weekly coffee mornings,Monthly Boot Fairs, Fashion show and Christmas Fayre, Facilities used by local groups including Tai Chi, Yoga, Line Dancing,Short Mat Bowls, Photo club, Bowling Club and Parish Council. Intermittent parties, weddings, caravan clubs and now 13 Dog clubs use our facilities.

Provides accommodation/residential facilities for groups of people visiting the Yorkshire dales for recreational/educational purposes e.g. scouts, schools, family groups.

We provide a childrens play area, open space and football pitches

Hanborough Playing Fields Assoc provides a village hall/pavilion for many uses, and also manages the sports field for varied sports & recreational activities. Groups from outside the parish as well as those who are local are welcome to use the facilities.

We provide facilities for the members of the centre to partake in the purchase of alcohol and be entertained in various ways in the main club itself. We also provide satellite sites for the use of football and cricket and are home to fishing clubs, snooker clubs,organ society's and an over 60s club.

Provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of inhabitants in the Parish of Roydon for meetings, lectures and classes, and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving their conditions of life.

We provide all ages with activities to use at our centre including ballroom dancing, bingo, indoor carpet bowls, indoor & outdoor model car racing, young farmers club, dances, roller skating.

The charity runs and maintains the village playing field and pavilion, for the use of all the residents of the village, and lets the pavilion and field to various village organisations for sporting activities.

To provide a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Watlington without distinction of political,religious or other opinions including use for meetings lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

ART AND CRAFT GROUPS INCLUDING PROGGY MAT MAKING, CALLIGRAPHY, QUILT MAKING AND 4 ART GROUPS. IRISH DANCE CLASS AND BALLET AND TAP DANCE CLASSES. W.I AND SOCIALS . HIRE OUT ROOMS FOR FUNCTIONS

Providing social, recreational and educational activities. Daily and weekend trips. Talks on healthy living full days or half days. Armchair exercises on a weekly basis. Assist members in completing various forms eg. transport. Guest speakers on various topics.
