THE BELMONT COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION IS MADE UP OF DIFFERENT SECTIONS AND ORGANISATIONS THAT USE THE SAME FACILITIES. GROUPS INCLUDE WHIST, BOWLS, KEEP FIT, YOGA, MARTIAL ARTS AND BROWNIES. THE ACTIVITIES AVAILABLE APPEAL TO A WIDE RANGE OF THE COMMUNITY AND NEW GROUPS ARE SUPPORTED. THE ASSOCIATION ORGANISES SOCIAL EVENTS FOR THE COMMUNITY AND SUPPORTS OTHER CHARITIES THROUGH FUNDRAISING EVENTS.

We organise various fundraising events, rent out halls for dance classes, badminton, keep fit, art. Organise childrens parties, make donations to all local childrens clubs and old folk charities.and local schools.

Scouting, Camping, Climbing, Abseiling, Archery, Target Shooting, Expeditions.

Squirrel, Beaver, Cub and Scout sections, with activities undertaken according to the age group. Eg Squirrel and Beavers-indoor activities, craft activities and games; Cubs - map reading, activity badges, camp and outdoor skills; Scouts - activity badges (archery, shooting, swimming, caving, canoeing etc), cooking, competitions, camping, hikes.

The Association is non-profit making. Principle activity is to promote benefit of inhabitants of South Ruislip by associating with local authority, voluntary organisations & inhabitants in a common effort to advance education & to provide facilities for recreation & leisure time occupation. The Association achieves this by providing 12 different activities run by Section and Groups.

To promote the educational and physical recreation aspects of Upton Country Park area (which includes Upton House) and to improve the area and facilities and amenities within it for so long as, in the opinion of the Executive Committee, that area shall be maintained as a Country Park and as a place of achitectural and natural beauty.

CAMPING, HIKING, CRAFT, ETC IN LINE WITH THE SCOUT ASSOCIATION TRAINING SCHEME

The functions of the centre listed below are mainly for the elderly, keep fit, coach outings, whist drives & bingo.,coffee mornings

ABCA has active Tennis and Bowls sections, and there are also specific user groups, i.e. Scottish Dancing, WI, Snooker / Billiards, and TaeKwondo, Ukele band. The funds raised from letting cover most of the maintenance needs of the Parish Rooms. The Bowls and Tennis groups are self sufficient through their membership.

Education and development of young people through a variety of activities and competitions including public speaking, stock judging, cookery and sports. 10 clubs across the county organise their own weekly meeting. Emphasis on social, fundraising and travel opportunities too.

HIRE THE PREMISES TO THE COMMUNITY, BUILDING USED FOR THE NURSERY SCHOOL, YOGA, LINE DANCING, WELSH YOUTH CLUB ETC

We operate 2 day centres for our elderly Members across Mansfield and Mansfield Woodhouse. The centres provide friendship, support, activities and a nutritional meal. Activities include games, some entertainment, outings and seasonal parties. Normally our day centres open for one day per week, but the Mansfield Woodhouse day centre now operates on an additional day, for craft activities.

To provide the opportunity for young people aged 5 years and over to participate in an organisation dedicated to giving education and recreational pursuits in a safe and fun-loving environment. There are lots of opportunities to learn new skills and take part in events not otherwise available.

We are a group of 11 Trustees. There are 4 elected members, 5 Representative Members serving the community who represent the U3A, WI, Girl Guides, Keep Fit, Parish Council and there are also two co-opted Trustees. Our Committee also has two Honorary Officers who are appointed annually to fulfill the roles of Treasurer and Secretary.

Provide recreation for the young people of Halesowen and district, and for the upkeep of the Seth Somers Park.

CommunityCentre & Library, serving multi-ethic community. Activities hub for Co-op Women Guild, Art & Over 70s clubs, dance, stage, tap, keep fit, Martial Arts classes. Popular venue for engagements, weddings, christenings, birthday parties. Largest operational stage in area used for and cinema shows, charity fund raising events, church services and other social events for the community.

Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of the civil Parish of Neroche in Somerset without distinction of political religious or other opinion including use for meetings lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants

The village hall is involved in evenings, dinners, bowls evenings etc..

Management and administration of the local sports ground.
