The MTVCA seeks to conserve the environment in the Medlock and Tame river valleys and the surrounding districts both urban and rural by the preservation of natural and man-made features, the protection of flora and fauna and by the prevention of pollution and damage to amenities.It will maintain the house and grounds at Oaken Clough Terrace as the HQ of the Association and a wildlife garden.
