The Mendip Nature Research Committee, is a self-governing body. Its objectives are to advance education by the study and research of the flora, fauna, geology, archaeology, speleology and allied sciences principally on Mendip, and to pursue other activities outside the scientific sphere, as may be determined and promoted by the MNRC.
