Pets in Need provides sanctuary for unwanted, neglected and abandoned animals. It ensures all animals taken in have comfortable and warm accomodation, are well fed and receive whatever veterinary care required. Both charity shops are manned by volunteers. Voluntary help is also acquired by providing work experience for its animal loving students from schools.
