PCDC provides relief for children under the age of 25 years, most of whom are under 18years. Children are sponsored with a contribution paid towards Christian school fees. Medical provision is provided in exceptional cases. Contributions are focused for children in destitute need; the death of one or both parents, abandonment by relatives, family break-down, illness, or mental/physical handicap.
