ASCN UK (2013) provides an educational forum for nurses delivering specialist health-care to individuals with a Colorectal / Urological stoma. This is delivered through an Annual Conference, Project Working Groups, Study Days and Web- Page which supports sharing clinical expertise and development of evidence-based practice.Educational grants are available for support with education and research.

Grant making

Support & resources base in UK for Christian Medical College & Hospital (CMC) Ludhiana (Punjab, N. India). Support includes facilitation of visits of healthcare personnel to share skills & experience, assistance with training opportunities for CMC staff both in India & overseas, & financial support for sponsorship of student nurses, assisted healthcare for poor patients & research initiatives.

The Charity provides help to the sick or disabled who are in financial need. Grants may be made to purchase among other items, equipment, special clothing, help with energy bills and respite care. Support is also given to the Community Nurses by providing help with training courses, books and special equipment not normally funded by the NHS.

The charity provides aid to former district nurses employed in the counties of Leicestershire and Rutland whom through age, ill health, accident or infirmity are unable to maintain themselves, and also to provide relief to those persons resident in the counties of Leicestershire and Rutland who are sick, convalesent, disabled, handicapped or infirm.

Grants for the benefit of individuals generally on application by Doctors, Nurses, Social Workers and Voluntary Organisations when statutory provision cannot be used.Activity is restricted to helping people who live within a 7 mile radius from the centre of Reading who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm.

Educational grants to members of the League of St. Bartholomew's Nurses and Benevolent Grants to League members and nurses who have trained at St. Bartholomew's Hospital (EC1A 7BE) and are in financial difficulty or in need of friendship and advice.

The aims of the Fund are to provide financial assistance to any League member or past or present member of the nursing staff of The Royal London Hospital, of whatever age, in need.

We aim to relieve and preserve health amongst persons around Silverton, Devon by supporting Wyndham House Surgery and other activities. These include financial support for a palliative nurse and a digital social prescriber, a prescription delivery service, a car service to take patients to and from the surgery and local hospitals, Balance Classes, over 65 keep fit and others.

Iain Rennie Hospice at Home is part of RGHC which provides palliative care for adults and children who have been diagnosed with cancer or another life limiting illness in Herts & Bucks. Through our 24/7 responsive hospice at home service, our specialist nurses give patients the choice to be cared for at home. Fund raising assistance to Newquay Hospital

We teach Western Medical Acupuncture to doctors, nurses and physiotherapists. We look to businesses and other donors to assist by paying the fees of nurses who are keen to expand their knowledge for the good of sick patients. Some of our nurses use acupuncture in the NHS and help patients by easing the symptoms of illness and can clear the patients entirely from the condition they present with.

The aim of the Medway Hindu Mandir is to promote Santana Dharma (Hinduism). To teach and remind values of Hindu religious & Indian culture, regardless of caste, creed, colour, sex, disability, nationality and be open for all to come together - all inter faiths welcome. The Middlesex Hospital Nurses Benevolent Fund was established in 1933 to enable Middlesex nurses to keep in touch with each other. One of the primary purposes however is to maintain a benevolent fund to help Middlesex nurses and all trained nurses who have served on the Middlesex staff who are in need through sickness or adverse circumstances. There is also an education bursary.
