The principal objectives of the Bread of Life Church International (BOLCI) are to advance the Christian faith all-over the UK and worldwide, in accordance with the statement of Faith, creating and maintaining of spiritual and physical wellbeing of members. Our service and act of worship put faith in practice through prayer, scripture reading, learning, giving hands to the needy and signing praises

Religious activities, Runs St Ives Food Bank which provides short term relief and advice for those in crisis regardless of belief or any other discriminatory factor.

The principal purpose of the charity is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles and practices of the Baptist denomination to include the advancement of education, community service and such other general charitable purposes in such parts of the United Kingdom and the world as the Church shall determine.

The Church advances Christian faith by the preaching of the Gospel, public worship within the church building,organised Bible studies, prayer meetings, evangelistic events and meeting needs within the community.

The Circuit carries out a number of activities, including: equipping local Churches for mission; supporting and training local preachers to lead worship; receiving and administering the payment of assessments to the Circuit in order for the Circuit to be able to provide a manse and ensure its Ministers are paid a stipend; and supporting local Churches in meeting their obligations.

To promote in the ecclesiastical parish, the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic and ecumenical. It also has the responsibility for the maintenance of St Georges Church, a listed building, and the related estate.

A church charity

We hold corporate worship services at Ollerton and Church Warsop as well as holding small group meetings called Life Groups in midweek. In midweek, we also run outreach projects such as Parent and Toddler, Make Lunch, youth activities and activities for some specialist groups such as Autism and Mental Health issues. Our method is to draw people together, to show love and to serve them.

We conduct Islamic wedding ceremonies & funeral services. In addition teach children to read Arabic and read and write Urdu. Facilities are available for all members & non members to pray five times a day. We also cater for all religious ceremonies and social events. We have collections and send monies raised to third world countries.

Advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination, including: - public worship, prayer, Bible study, preaching and teaching; - evangelism and mission, locally, regionally, nationally and internationally; - giving and encouraging pastoral care; - supporting and encouraging charitable social action in the UK and abroad.

Promotion of the Christian religion in North Devon and Torridge through weekly Sunday services, family groups, and regular Alpha courses.

Providing a place of worship and Islamic education.

The primary objective of St Mary's and St Laurence's Churches is the promotion of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the doctrine and practices of the Church of England. The PCC has the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent, the Reverend Keith Littlejohn, in promoting the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the Church pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.

The work of the Sisters of Bethany has always been prayer for the Unity of the Church, hospitality and retreat work. Whether residential or daily the retreat creates space both individually or in groups to stand back from their daily lives and be with God in a quiet and prayerful atmosphere.We have a Novena each year for more Vocations to the Religous Life and intercede every Thursday for Unity.

Holding public Meetings for Worship; and providing opportunities for Members and others to explore and develop their understanding of their faith, in the light of historic and contemporary Quakers insights and testimonies.

To advance any purpose recognised as being charitable within the laws of England and Wales in Africa, in particular but not exclusively by supporting the work and well-being of the team of Life Ministries Christian Centre, Africa and beyond.

To further the religious and other charitable work of Beechen Grove Baptist Church, and the maintenance of the Grade 2 listed church building and other property.

The life of the Church reflects the nature and location of the Parish at the heart of the Square Mile. The main service of the week is on Wednesday Lunchtimes - an informal service with worship, teaching and the opportunity to receive prayer. Holy Communion is celebrated on Tuesday Lunchtimes using the BCP. On significant days in the Christian calendar appropriate services are also held.
