We are an active congregation of 140 members from a wide range of backgrounds. On Sunday mornings and evenings we meet for worship. We have a thriving Junior Church, with ages from 0 to 18, and share with other East Reading churches in joint youth activities. Small groups for fellowship, Bible study, prayer and church life development meet regularly,and social action projects.

The activities of the Charity include;1. Advancement of Christian faith worldwide, and2. Relief of poverty.

Vineyard Chapel provides the advancement of the Christian faith worldwide in accordance with the doctrines set out in the Statement of Faith schedule of the Charity Trust Deed and the relief of poverty. It also supports socially deprived individuals and groups and involves in community oriented projects that can promote societal development and community cohesion.

SUPPORT TO LOCAL CHURCHES IN THE CIRCUIT TO PROVIDE ACTS OF WORSHIP - IN PERSON AND ONLINE - FOR MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS. THE TEACHING OF CHRISTIANITY THROUGH SERMONS, COURSES AND SMALL GROUPS. PASTORAL WORK INCLUDING VISITING THE SICK AND BEREAVED. PROMOTING CHRISTIANITY THROUGH EVENTS AND SERVICES. SUPPORTING OTHER CHARITIES LOCALLY, NATIONALLY AND OVERSEAS FINANCIALLY AND WITH PRAYER.

The Parochial Church Council (PCC) has the responsibility of co-operating with the Vicar of Romford in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the Church: pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.

We provide weekly public worship and organise a regular programme of liberal religious and spiritual education activities for adults and children. We offer a wide range of rites of passage ceremonies. We support social action activities and other charities in their work. We encourage interfaith dialogue. We provide social and emotional support to church members and organise social activities.

To advance the Christian faith in accordance with the Evangelical Alliance statement of beliefs. This is done through the holding of meetings, worship and outreach activities in the local community and by supporting mission partners, prayerfully, practically and financially.

St James the Less promotes the whole mission of the church in the parish and provides regular public worship open to all; pastoral work, including visiting the sick and bereaved; evangelistic work; children's and youth work; and social action including working with the homeless.

A portion of our proceeds is dedicated to supporting various charitable endeavours benefiting individuals and communities in need both locally in the UK and in India Our commitment to charitable work extends to partnering with Rochdale Council for local charity Through these collaborative efforts we aim to make a positive impact on the lives of those facing hardship.

Our main objects are to advance the Orthodox Christian faith for the benefit of the public in accordance with teachings of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.Funds raised come from collections, private donations, and from fundraising events.

The Charity, as a Christian organisation is involved in preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and reaching out to the community on faith related matters. We are also involved in providing counselling to our members and helping those having financial challenges. We are commencing a community COVID 19 response food project approved by the National Lottery Fund (England).

The principal object of the Society is to support the activities of Westminster Cathedral. Funds are raised to further this object from membership subscriptions, donations and by means of events approved and monitored by the trustees

Lakeside Community Church Perton is involved in various ways in serving the local community. We offer practical Christian based teaching and pastoral support to people of all age groups, youth and children's activities, a carer and toddlers club, community action and support, help for the homeless and other vulnerable people and overseas aid and mission.
