Guardianship and Maintenance of The Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham

CPAS seeks to advance the Christian gospel by working with lay and ordained leaders in (mainly Anglican) churches, offering: training and conferences, residential holidays for children and young people, appointment of incumbents to Anglican parishes, resources, consultancy and advice, and grants (for those in training for Anglican ordination).

In 2017, the Society supported programmes in more than 20 countries spread across 14 Anglican provinces through relationship and partnership. Our programmes equip church leaders with skills that enable wider participation in integral mission and development as well as empower churches and ordinary people to take control of their health and communities through vibrant and participatory processes.

Thirtyone:eight is an independent Christian charity which helps individuals, supports organisations, charities, faith and community groups to protect vulnerable people from abuse. The charity acts both as a Property Holding Trustee for church property and investments of churches within the Synod and holds the financial information of the Synod's activities.

The trust is a company limited by guarantee and was formed on 2/11/77. The Memorandum and Articles of Association provide its governing document and constitution. Its object is to advance the Christian religion in accordance with the doctrines, principles and usages of the United Reformed Church, particularly in the West Midlands.

Religious activities

The object of the Royal Foundation is the advancement of the Christian religion through worship, hospitality and service, and the promotion of Christian values. The Foundation provides and maintains a Christian conference and retreat centre in East London, provides a place of sanctuary, peace and reflection for worship and serves local communities through outreach, support and engagement.

To provide for the spiritual and welfare needs of the Spanish & Portuguese Jews' Congregation

The aim of the charity is to advance the Christian faith in accordance with the doctrines and principles of the Church of England and to carry out the social mission of the Church through the support of charitable work for the relief of poverty, through the maintenance of religious community of women organised in accordance with the rule of St. Benedict and dedicated to the St. Mary at the Cross.

Union Chapel is an independent secular charity operating within the church building. It has a dual charitable remit to restore the building and to open it up to arts, community and heritage interest. To provide, carry on and maintain a college or colleges for the training of candidates for Holy Orders in the Church of England and such other students of theology and other germane Christian studies as the Governors may permit.

These activities include a varied youth programme, building and maintaining of relationships with like minded churches and continuing the support of CB&C (the trading arm of the Fellowship)

To arrange marriage ceremonies in accordance with Sikh faith and current laws of England & Wales. To celebrate the historic days in the Sikh religion. To hold two main sporting events in the year.

The company's principal activity is to promote, assist and advance the work of the Church of England in the Diocese in Europe.

The College of St. Barnabas was established in 1895 to provide retirement homes for Anglican Clergy, Church Workers, Readers licensed by a Bishop and their wives and widows. In 2005 those in communion with Church of England are included. There is also a care wing for those requiring care and medical support.
