Habonim Dror is a youth organisation organising activities of an educational and social nature to socially concious Jewish youth.

Since its establishment in July 2013, the Trustees have sought to advance the mission, vision and teachings of Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks as a reflection of, and in order to promote, the charitable objectives of the Covenant & Conversation Trust. These are based on the articulation and promotion of a Judaism that is connected to its rich heritage whilst simultaneously engaged with the world.

The charities objectives are to promote theological and talmudic research, provide such educational facilities as will enable the students to become Rabbis, Ministers, Readers and Hebrew teachers for the Jewish Community. The college also helps necessitous students pursue their studies by means of scholarships and grants.

The Charity makes grants in accordance with its principle ojectives and mission statement which are to invest in young people and education in Israel.

Awarding salaries, scholarships, maintenance allowances or grants. Providing religious education, research opportunities and activities. Providing facilities for Jewish studies and education. The prevention or relief ofpoverty in England.

Education and activities

To provide a home for permanent residence of Jewish people who are aged, in particular but not exclusively for poor Jewish persons who have been resident in Southport.To provide a convalescent home for poor Jewish people.With discretion for the Trustees to waive the requirement for a beneficiary under either of the above objects to be Jewish.

The distribution of funds to religious, educational and similar charities for the advancement of religion in accordance with the Orthodox Jewish faith and the relief of poverty.

Recognising our debt to the Jewish people for the Bble and the need to overcome prejudice, the society publishes and freely distributes the Hebrew scriptures to Jewish people worldwide.

To alleviate persons suffering from cancer, and their families, within the Jewish community. To support their emotional, practical & medical needs by the provision of treatment, necessities and facilities, enabling access to resources through referrals, and practical guidance. The Jewish Museum collects, preserves, interprets and exhibits material relating to Jewish history, culture and religious life. It draws on the Jewish experience as a focus for the exploration of identity in a multicultural society, actively engaging with the shared experiences represented in the diverse cultural heritage of London, Britain and the wider world.

The running of a college for young men of the Orthodox Jewish faith.

To advance religion in accordance with the Orthodox Jewish faith and to support other charitable activities as are recognised by English law as charitable.

Besides providing educational support to the local school, the charity also organised after school clubs throughout the week that has proved popular.
