We provide weekly public worship and organise a regular programme of liberal religious and spiritual education activities for adults and children. The charity provides and maintains almshouses and a chapel, within a conservation area, in the town of Sandwich. The almshouses are allocated to needy and predominantly elderly people residing in Sandwich or the adjoining parishes of Worth, Eastry, Woodnesborough and Ash. The chapel is used as a place of worship for residents and the local community.

Our Charity aims to provide (a) a place of worship for Orthodox Christians who are predominantly members of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Great Britain, (b) educational opportunities for the community we serve (of Greeks and Greek Cypriots who are first, second, or even sometimes third generation immigrants), (c) social, welfare and cultural activities, and (d) an information centre.

The Society of The Faith carries out a range of charitable activities including providing meeting space and offices for other charities and church groups, holding an annual lecture, awarding grants for advanced theological study and church needlework and sponsoring books about the Christian faith.

To promote Polish culture and provide assistance to the Catholic Church in its pastoral work, especially for the Polish community in Britain through the printing and publication of books and periodicals, and through the provision of scholarships to students and researchers engaged in the field of spiritual and educational welfare of the Polish community in the UK.

Worship of God and promotion of the Sikh religion through social, cultural and sporting activities.

As a church, we hold regular Sunday services and meet during the week for prayer and Bible study. We are deeply committed to serving our city and the wider Lancaster district, sharing God's love by supporting vulnerable people and those in need. We do this through our Celebrate Recovery programme and Bay Volunteers project, among other activities, and work very closely with the Adullam Programme.

Since 1982 the Manna House Trust has sought to serve the community by providing access to professional counselling services, accredited courses to students training to be future counsellors and supervisors, and wellbeing workshops, for everyone in Northamptonshire irrespective of faith background or ability to pay. It has also provided a coffee shop, bookshop and flats for the homeless.
