ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION AND;THE FURTHERANCE OF THE CHARITABLE WORK OF THE CHURCH BY THE ADVANCEMENT OF SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS THE TRUSTEES SHALL FROM TIME TO TIME DECIDE

Romsey Parochial Church Council (PCC) has the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent, in promoting the parish, the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, spiritual, evangelical, social and ecumenical. The PCC has maintenance responsibilitiesfor Romsey Abbey, St. Swithun's, and Romsey Abbey Church Rooms.

We provide Christian services at churches in north-east Monmouthshire with other activities including pastoral support, conducting baptisms, weddings, funerals, providing meeting places and social groups, maintaining churchyards and educating people about the Christian faith.

Parish Church

The Church carries out a wide range of activities and, in particular, the specific guidance on charities for the advancement of religion.The Church undertakes worship and prayer, learning about the Gospel and developing their knowledge and trust in Jesus; welfare, community services, youth projects; and provision of pastoral care for people living in the community.

To enable ordinary people to live out their faith as part of of our parish community through worship and prayer, learning about the gospel and developing their knowledge and trust in Jesus Christ. Provision of pastoral care for people living in our parish. Missionary and outreach work.

Regular public worship. Teaching of Christianity. Pastoral work. Taking of assemblies, periodically, in schools. The provision of youth activities with a Christian ethos. Promotion of Christianity through events and literature. Promoting the church's mission, including supporting mission partners and provision of activities for senior citizens, parents and toddlers..

During the period under review the Church has provided the following:- Alpha and other evangelistic activities, appropriate follow up. Meetings for students and young people. Mens meetings and womens meetings and event. Prayer meetings. Membership days. Training in pastoral care and other aspects of ministry. Freedom in Christ appointments. Life Groups. Helped eleviate need in the local community.

The provision of regular acts of worship, teaching of christianity through sermons,courses and small groups. Pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved. Promotion of christianity through the staging of events and services. The provision of members of staff to assist in all of these activities.

The Chorley & Leyland Circuit organises and resources ministers and local preachers to lead public worship open to all without charge. This takes place at each of the 11 Methodist Churches, including the one Local Ecumenical Partnership. All churches are encouraged to engage with the wider community, offering premises where appropriate. Trustees have had regard to the guidance on public benefit.

Promotion of Christianity through events, meetings and literature. Promoting the whole mission of the Church through provision of activities for senior citizens, parents and others. Supporting other charities in the U.K. and overseas.

Manchester Central Foodbank, part of the Trussell Trust Network, provides an emergency service to those in need in Central Manchester. We give out emergency food parcels (3 days nutritionally balanced food) and signposting services to those referred to us by front line agencies (social workers, GPs, chaplains, schools, etc.) as well as support in other forms to relieve the impact of poverty.

St Peter's PCC has the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent, in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the church; pastoral, evangelistic, social & ecumenical. It also has the maintenance responsibilites for the church complex of St Peter's.

Holding of Christian services focussed on various age groups and arranging other regular activities such as toddler group, sports and leisure time activities, music and drama activities. All of these activities support our objectives to further the christian faith and to support the development of young people.

The principle activity of the charity is the advancement of the Christian faith through worship and work within the local community.

Key emphases of the charity are to have radical unity in our vibrant community, seek God's wholeness for the broken, celebrate younger generations as the Church of today and to go, wherever God leads, to make disciples. This is achieved by encountering Father, Son and Holy Spirit in Word and worship, growing as disciples together and experiencing the Spirit's transforming power in prayer.

Advancement of Jain Religion for the benefit of the public through the holding of Satsang (Discourses/Lectures), Meditation Sessions, Conferences/Retreats, Bhakti (Divine worship in the form of Hymms and Chants. To promote and support Love and Care programme which encompasses various projects such as Animal Care, Education Care, Child Care, Community Care etc.

The objects of the CIO are, for the public benefit, to advance the Christian faith in the tradition of the Holy Apostolic Catholic Assyrian Church of the East in the United Kingdom, primarily but not exclusively through the provision of a place or places of worship, the administration of the sacraments, rites and ceremonies of the Church according to its usage and forms.

To advance the Christian religion either in the UK or overseas, in particular but not exclusively, by: - the advancement of education, - the promotion of good race relations and equality of opportunity between persons of different racial groups; and - the relief of poverty particulary amongst children in inner-city areas.

The Parochial Church Council of the Mortlake with East Sheen Team Ministry acts as asingle body to manage jointly the three Church of England churches: St Mary the Virgin, Mortlake High Street, London SW14 8JA Christ Church, Christ Church Road, London SW14 7RT and All Saints, East Sheen Avenue, London SW14 8AT

PROMOTION OF CHRISTIAN RELIGION - EVANGELISM FOR MEN IN THE UK and promotion / support of the vision in other countries in culturally relevant way.

The majority of Visible's activities are delivered through our flagship initiative-the Naked Truth Project. A project that seeks to open eyes and free lives from the damaging impact of pornography. We provide awareness, education and recovery programmes to men, women & young people.

RELIGIOUS ACTIVITES INCLUDING:FEEDING PROGRAMMES AND SOCIAL ACTION AMONGST HOMELESS AND MARGINALISED, WEEKLY GROUPS AIMED AT MEETING NEEDS OF THOSE AGED FROM PRESCHOOL THROUGH TO SENIOR CITIZENS, CHILDREN AND YOUTH MINISTRY WORK, OVERSEAS AID.

Make payments for the charitable purposes of advancing the Christian religion and religious education.

The upkeep of a synagogue and arranging adult educational and leisure activities. The charity also provides grants for the poor and needy.
