The Peoples Hall is a local Evangelical Church affiliated to the F.I.E.C and EFCC for promoting the spiritual or social welfare and benefit generally of the people living in Low Town of Bridgnorth. Trustees support education costs for hugely disadvantaged children from the 'slums' of Bangalore, India, the costs of University education for a gifted Ghanaian also a UK volunteer working amongst rural Gipsies in Romania who are rejected by many. Trustees also address other needs, both overseas and in the UK, as and when they present themselves.

The objective of the Charity is to pursue the religious and other charitable purposes of the Church of England, within the ecclesiastical parish of St. Michael, Tilehurst

In accordance with the Trusts Deed the Charity raises funds which are distributed towards the Maintenance of Divine Worship at St. Marys Thurnham

Holding Protestant Martyr Commemoration Meetings, having a presence at County and Agricultural shows, and maintaining a preaching ministry.

The charity has acted to advance the teachings and philosophy of Maharishi Guru Valmik Ji, through religious teachings, activities and events . The Jagat Guru Maharishi Valmik Temple Coventry is a place of worship serving the community. The charity has also acted with efforts to relieve sickness and poverty where considered appropriate by the donation of funds to charitable organisations.

1 To offer grants to Clergy of the Church of England to enable them to undertake further accredited study for the advancement of religion provided that such clergy will be a clerk in holy orders in the Diocese of Oxford2. To provide grants to help the teaching of children and young people in any educational institution in the Diocese of Oxford in the principles of the Church of England

In 1981, following various negotiations and proposals between the present Chairman of the Abbess Adelicia Charity and the then Lord Salisbury (since deceased) the owner of the Ilford Hospital Chapel complex, the site, including the Chapel and a ?50,000 endowment was transferred to the newly formed Abbess Adelicia Charity which has administered the Ilford Hospital Chapel complex ever since.

This charity was set up to maintain and manage the synagogue in Cazenove Road in London known as The Beth Hamedrash Satmar. This includes providing facilities for public worship and Torah study and other services, amenities and activities incidental thereto. The charity also provides grants for students and donations to needy individuals / charitable organisations in the community.
