We have sought to achieve this aim by holding regular religious services, public talks, reading groups and Bible study seminars. We do not seek financial support from the general public. Apart from a small number of voluntary donations, all our funds are raised internally from our own membership.

The CES negotiates, on behalf of all bishops, with Government, and other national bodies on legal, administrative, and religious education matters in order to:promote Catholic interests in education; safeguard Catholic interests in education; contribute to Christian perspectives within educational debate at national levelworks closely with the Department for Catholic Education and Formation.

To promote and assist in the promotion of education within the Lichfield Diocese, consistent with the faith and practice of the Church of England, including the promotion of religious education and worship in schools within the Diocese.

Provision of teaching and learning resources, information, support and training in the fields of intercultural education and the environment via the internet, teacher inset days, projects, competitions and literature. Facilitating and encouraging inter-cultural understanding through the arts and gardening.

Supporting Orthodox Jewish religious education, the advancement of the Orthodox Jewish Religion and the relief of poverty by grant-making to institutions and individuals and allowing the use of a building as a school.

THE CHARITY RUNS A DAY SCHOOL WITH THREE DEPARTMENTS FOR NURSERY, PRIMARY AND SECONDARY EDUCATION, THE CHARITY IS ALSO MAKES GRANTS FOR RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY.

New Testament Assembly charitable purposes are to provide religious education/training and social activities to inform, empower and serve well its diverse constituency. In so doing we endeavour to be environmentally friendly and prudent with the funds amassed.

The charity raises funds to further Orthodox Jewish religious education. It distributes its funds to a Torah Talmudical College and grants bursaries to Rabbinical students.

To provide fellowships for teachers of Religious Education. Also to offer fellowships to members of Her Majesty's Armed Forces, Clergy, Ministers of Religion and Academics involved in RE. To support Head Teachers to undertake research on values and standards, to disseminate recent and interesting work in RE and provide a network of support for those involved in RE teaching.

Providing support for education, particularly the support of Jewish religious education, mostly for children/youth from Greater Manchester and for the Beis Yaakov High School for Girls, Salford.
