Furthering the Roman Catholic faith for the public benefit, through direct support of the Roman Catholic Association of consecrated women known as the Franciscan Family of the Immaculate Heart and of St Maximilian. The Trust was formed to distribute funds as to two thirds for educational, religious or other charitable purposes for Roman Catholics in the United Kingdom as the Trustess think just with the balance of the income distributed for charitable purposes in the United Kingdom all according to the Trustees discretion

To advance the Roman Catholic faith by supporting, in particular, the Personal Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham, which was established in 2011 by Pope Benedict XV1 to allow Anglicans to enter into the full communion of the Catholic Church while retaining much of their heritage and traditions.

Worldwide Marriage Encounter presents training and education programmes for those who the Roman Catholic Church defines as having committed themselves to "The marriage covenant by which a man and woman establish between themselves a partnership for their whole life...". It is in this context that it also presents marriage preparation training programmes, entitled 'Engaged Encounter'.

The trustees' focus is upon fostering education that is compatible with Roman Catholic teaching through financial assistance provided for the management, promotion and upkeep of St Peter's International College. The trustees are currently considering other plans that would be compatible with the trust's objects and hope to take these to fruition during the current and next financial year.

The net income of the foundation, after the payment of administrative expenses, is used to fund exhibitions and other benefits to Roman Catholic children attending Catholic schools and who, being resident in England, Wales or the Channel Islands, have lost both parents, or are fatherless or whose fathers do not provide them with effective financial support.
