Religious Activities

Provides almshouse accommodation for people in need of housing. Preference given to the poor of Loughton and those who have been members of Loughton Union Church for a period of ten years.

RELIGIOUS

The Charity oversees five almshouses, collects weekly maintenance contributions from the five occupiers, and maintains the properties in a good state of repair, and looks after the welfare of the five lady occupants. The five houses are 139-147, Church Lane, Marple, Stockport SK6 7LD.

The Charity as responsible for the running of three Evangelical Churches in Barry, South Wales.

To defraying the cost of upkeep and repair of the Guild Church of St Andrew Holborn and the maintenance of services therein subject to furthering the religious and charitable work of the Church of England in the former Parish of St Andrew Holborn.

To provide benefits of any kind not normally provided by the local education authority for any school within the Borough of Boston as constituted on the 31st March,1974;To promote religious instruction according to the doctrines of the Church of England.

Provision of Christian religious services

Providing financial assistance to qualifying students either directly from the charity or indirectly from other bodies. Providing useful information regarding Higher Education in the UK and providing support to other organisations that offer Financial support to Scholars, Survivors and Refugees.

THE PROVISION OF BENEFITS FOR THE PATIENTS AND STAFF OF THE NEATH HOSPITALS. THE PROVISION OF SOCIAL AMENITIES AND ENTERTAINMENTS FOR PATIENTS AND NURSING STAFF OF THE NEATH HOSPITALS.THE CHARITY UNDERTAKES A WIDE RANGE OF FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES AND ACTS AS AN ORGANISATION FOR RECEIVING DONATIONS. FUNDS ARE DISTRIBUTED ACCORDING TO NEED AND DECIDED UPON AT MONTHLY EXECUTIVE MEETINGS.

Provision of support to the teaching ministry in the parishes of Gravesend and Dartford. Provision of relief by way of monetary grants to necessitous clergy in the Church of England Diocese of Rochester as constituted on 2 September 1704, and to provide for the maintenance of Doctor Plume's grave and gravestone in the Parish of Longfield.

Making grants to Whitchurch PCC and Fishpond and Stanton St Gabriel DCCs towards repairs to the churches and the religious work of the Church of England in the ecclesiastical parish

The Charity's objectives are to advance the education of the public in the Shrine of the Lady Julian of Norwich and to advance religion by promoting and furthering the work of the Shrine of the Lady Julian of Norwich.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, SPORT, LEISURE

Riverside Christian Mission helps to finance Schools, Children's Homes, Churches, Christian Workers, Medical work, Skills training, Children's work, Relief of poverty and other needs of very poor people in the third world.

INDIVIDUAL WORK IN ATHERSTONE / MANCETTERCHURCH WORK / CHAPLAINCY / PASTORAL SUPPORTRELIEF OF POVERTY

To maintain the land and buildings of the charity and to ensure the continued use of the chapel as a place of worchip.

Religious Activities

The aims and objectives of the Society is to arrange four high quality classical music concerts each year in St Mary's Church, Painswick, which are greatly appreciated and well attended. Although professional and celebrated artists are usually engaged to maintain the high standards, the cost of tickets is kept to a minimum to make the concerts available to all.

To enhance the education of the pupils at the school by the provision of finance. This has not changed since the charity was started.

Manage Warlingham Church Hall, leased from the Diocese of Southwark, for the benefit of the community

Sunday morning christian worship. Bible studies and prayer meetings. Ladies fellowship groups. Churches together lunches. Christian outreach concerts. Coffee mornings.
