Religion Charities

We raise vital funds to help enhance our children's education. Funds are raised through events such as, school discos and summer fairs to smaller things like cake sales. The money raised is for the school and benefits all the pupils who attend there, as well as the wider community when larger events are organised. We try to ensure that a community feel is created by the events we carry out.

fUNDRAISING EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO INCLUDE FARES AND SPONSER DAYS

PRAY, PREACH, TEACH THE BIBLE AND PLANT CHURCHES IN ENGLAND AND GHANA

1) The relief of persons resident in the Ecclesiastical Parishes of St Decuman, Watchet and St Peter, Williton who are in need, hardship or distress. 2) The maintenance and repair of the Parish Church of St Decuman, Watchet.

Religious/Charitable or educational object or end, having in view the spiritual,intellectual,moral,social or bodily wants mainly but not exclusively of members of the Church of England in the Diocese of Lincoln

To apply the trust property either as capital or as income for such charitable purposes which advances the religious and other charitable work for the time being carried on for the benefit of the Public at Ware or elsewhere by or under the direction of the Society and for such other charitable purposes as the trustees with the approval of the Superior should from time to time think fit.

Religious Activities

Provision of accommodation for a retired clergyman, educational support, and provision of meeting place for church activities

The preservation, maintenance and improvement of the fabric of St. James' Church at East Tisted, Hampshire and the churchyard adjoining and for the advancement of the faith of the Church of England in that Parish

provision of hall for children and adult activities.

Friends of Howbridge Junior School raises money to assist the school with any additional items they may need to purchase for the childrens use.

Coordinating interchurch prayer and activities in the North East, supporting Connect community at St Lukes Newcastle, supporting church leaders

The trustees have a responsibility to hold two accounts on behalf of the church. One is a maintenance account & the other is a depreciation account, so that when the church building has reached the end of its economic life, some funds are available to replace it.

Recreation Ground facilities,which include tennis courts, football pitches, BMX track, Club house and changing rooms, Children's play area

The aim of the charity is to advance the education of the pupils at St Michael's Easthampstead Church Of England Aided Primary School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the school not normally provided by the Local Education Authority.

The trustees award grants to various organisations and individuals in the field of church and other charitable activities, in acordance with the wishes of the late Samuel Gurney.

To raise money for the repair, upkeep, cleaning, preservation and conservation of the fabric of the ancient Church and Churchyard of All Saints, Bolton Percy, North Yorkshire, by donations with optional gift aid, gifts, functions, grants and any other means.

1. PROVISION OF MEETING PLACE FOR MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF RELIGIOUS AND EDUCATIONAL WELL BEING OF JEWISH STUDENTS AND GRADUATES. 2. EDUCATIONAL COURSES AND LECTURES, ASSISTANCE TO LIBRARIES, PROMOTION OF JEWISH EDUCATIONAL LITERATURE. 3. TO CO-OPERATE WITH OTHER ORGANISATIONS HAVING LIKE OBJECTS.

Arrange burials of indigent Muslims.Gardens of Peace cemetry is used for this purpose.Arrange help for indigent persons of all ages.

We didn't have many activities during 2020 due to the Pandemic when we couldn't have face to face meetings. However, Scouts had a very active Zoom meetings In early part of year, Beavers celebrated Chinese new year, had a night hike and cooked pancakes. Cubs visited a synagogue, made pancakes, visited a Fire station and some went to the Science Museum. Scouts went ice skating, had a Winter camp

Grants to people from countries that are not part of the Commonwealth, or were not part of the British Empire, and who are at present resident in London

Provide human resources and provide buildings and facilities.
