The objects and activities of the Thames North Synod are to advance the Christian religion in accordance with the doctrines, principles and usages of the United Reformed Church, particularly in the Thames North area. The Synod is also supportive of Inter Synod sharing of financial resources.

Running a weekly programme of meetings for the proclamation of the Christian faith, study of the bible and mutual encouragement of those attending, running ministry training schemes, supplying financial and other resources to those carrying on gospel ministry in the UK and overseas, organising conferences to promote gospel ministry, provision of practical and financial help to those in need

Relieving financial hardship, distress and suffering among poor people, victims of natural and man-made disastersand other people in needAdvancing education for the benefit of the poor, the underprivileged and the general public.Relieving sickness and to preserve good health among the poor and underprivilegedAdvancing the religion of Islam

THE CHARITY HOLDS ITS PROPERTY, WHICH IS CURRENTLY UNDER DEVELOPMENT, PRIMARILY FOR USE AS A COMMUNITY CENTRE AND A SYNAGOGUE AND FOR PROVIDING JEWISH EDUCATION. IT ALSO MAKES GRANTS AND DONATIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH ITS OBJECTIVES TO INSTITUTIONS WHICH UTILISE FUNDS IN A MANNER WHICH ACCORDS WITH THE CHARITY'S OBJECTIVES.

The Sisters of Notre Dame are a group of religious women whose main aim is to contribute to the advancement of Roman Catholic religion by involvement in education, broadly conceived. This they do by formation of the young, various voluntary ministries, and support for educational and catechetical programmes and institutions. They are committed to the care of their aged, sick and infirm sisters.

Offers a range of tertiary academic programmes: Business Management, Humanities, Diversity, Theology, English Language. Our Theology programmes (BA Hons Bibilical & Pastoral Studies, Graduate Diploma in Biblical & Pastoral Studies, Postgraduate in Ministry and Mission, MA Theology) are validated by University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

The objective of the College is the advancement, support and furtherance of Orthodox Higher Religious Jewish Studies.The College educates its students in Traditional Jewish Studies relevant to layman, Rabbis, Ministers, Shochetim and Hebrew Studies.The College also helps necessitous students pursue their studies by means of Scholarships and Grants.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 3 MONTH - 16 YEARS FROM THE JEWISH COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING AN EDUCATIONAL FRAMEWORK WHICH COMPLIES WITH STANDARDS IDENTIFIED BY THE DEPARTMENT FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES (DFES)TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS AT BEIS MALKA NURSERY AND SCHOOL BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES BEYOND THAT WHICH IS REQUIRED

Theological training for Church of England ordinands, Lay Readers and others.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE JEWISH FAITH FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC BY PROVIDING GRANTS TO OTHER RELIGIOUS CHARITIES.THE ADVANCEMENT OF ORTHODOX JEWISH EDUCATION AND EDUCATION IN GENERAL BY PROVIDING GRANTS TO EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION.THE RELIEF OF POVERTY BY PROVIDING GRANTS TO OTHER CHARITIES WORKING AND TO QUALIFYING NEEDY FAMILIES WHO ARE INVOLVED IN THE FURTHERANCE OF THE JEWISH FAITH.

Sponsoring our mission partners, developing schools of biblical training and study partner programme promoting active engagement in mission amongst UK and Irish churches. Assisting in indigenous mission endeavours. Provide education through our mission programmes. Be a catalyst for mission between regions and continents.

To ensure that there is sufficient revenue to maintain the level of stipendiary ministry for the diocese and to enable the administrative functions of the diocese to be properly exercised.

Church Urban Fund works to catalyse social action and bring about positive change in lives and communities across England. Sunday and midweek worship as part of the Church of England. Mission and outreach activities include a weekly Foodbank in association with Hackney Food Bank, a winter night shelter and Credit Union. Other activities include outreach to youth and children, and pastoral care for people within the parish.

The charity provides financial support to organisations providing a sound religious education in accordance with the doctrines and principles of traditional Judaism and to institutions set up to provide aid to the needy.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ARE TO PROMOTE AND PROVIDE FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF RELIGION IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRACTICES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC.

The provision of shechita and kashrus supervision services and the provision of facilities to enable Jewish members of the public to practice the Jewish religion and to enable them to observe the Orthodox Jewish religious dietary laws relating to kosher food. The principal object of the charity?s work is to control standards of Kosher food production.

The Cathedral Church of St Andrew in Wells, known as Wells Cathedral, is foremost a place of worship and the seat of the Bishop of Bath & Wells. It is also a heritage attraction, a concert and exhibition venue, a community space and a centre for learning.

To encourage devotion to St Therese of Lisieux and to spread knowledge of her spirituality of love and trust in God our Father. To raise funds to help the missionary work of the Catholic Church overseas especially projects for the poor, sick, deprived and marginalised.
