To preserve in perpetuity the Regiment Memorials and Chapels,To Make grants to any other charitable organisation for the benefit of the Regiment and to run the resources of the charity effectively,To relieve either generally or individually persons who are past or present members of the Regiment or former members of the former regiments and the dependants of such persons who are in need

Southend Vineyard is a Christian Church made up of people from many walks of life, committed to living out the teachings of Jesus Christ in the context of contemporary society. We hold regular Sunday and weekday meetings and activities, occasional training events and are involved in a range of activities for the benefit of people who belong to the Church and the wider local community.

Church of England Church

As a parish under the Redeemed Christian Church of God - Worldwide, we are established to affect our community especially Rotherham and its environs with the great love of God as demonstrated by Jesus Christ. We are particularly interested in seeing God set people free from all abuse, oppressions and misconceptions. We will work with individuals & other charities to achieve this.

Advancement of the Christian faith according to Baptist principles by: regular worship, prayer, Bible study, preaching and teaching; the nurture and growth of Christian disciples; pastoral care; evangelism and mission locally, in the UK and internationally; education and training for Christian and community service; supporting and encouraging charitable social action in the UK and abroad.

A SIKH TEMPLE PROVIDING GENERAL DAY TODAY RELIGIOUS AND SOCIAL SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY INCLUDING COMMUNITY MEALS (LANGAR) DURING SERVICES. THE SERVICES INCLUDE BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS, MARRIAGE CELEBRATIONS INCLUDING LEGAL REGISTRATIONS AND FUNERALS. TEACHING OF PUNJABI AND MUSIC INCLUDING GURBANI KIRTAN. DAY SHELTER FOR ALL.

Religious Activities

Regular public worship open to all. Provision of sacred space for personal prayer. Promoting the whole mission of the Church.

The Parochial Church Council (PCC) has the responsibility of cooperating with the incumbent in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish, the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. The PCC is also specifically responsible for the maintenance of the churches of St Barnabas, Jericho and St Thomas the Martyr, St Thomas Quarter, West Oxford.

The mosque is a centre providing prayers and worshipping facilities.Organises festivals.Provides funeral services in line with the teachings of Islam. Holds children's Qur'an classes after school every day; teaching the reading and memorising of Qur'an.The promotion of good race and community relations with other ethnic communities in the area of benefit

Stretton Parish provides* regular public worship open to all* sacred space for personal prayer and contemplation* pastoral work, including visiting the sick and bereaved* teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and small groups* taking of religious assemblies in schools* youth clubs with a Christian ethos* supporting other charities in the UK and overseas

To promote the Christian religion.

(1) the advancement of Islam in accordance with the tenets and doctrines of the Shia Ithna Asheri shariah (2) The promotion and advancement of education in accordance with the shariah;(3) The relief of poverty and disease amongst the adherents of the Shia Ithna Asheri faith.

The PCC advances religion in providing the resources to enable clergy, paid workers, volunteers and the build ing to live out its declared purpose to welcome,to engage all comers in an exploration of faith and to include all people in the way that Christ did in his ministry. The building is widely used for community purposes including fundraising events and concerts.

The primary object of the PCC is the promotion of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the doctrines and practices of the Church of England. In accordance with the PCC (Powers) Measure 1956, the PCC is to co-operate with the minister in promoting in the parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.

We are a Christian organisation, who set out to help those in the church who are homeless and in addiction from Alcohol and Drugs. We found that people without faith where willing to come in to rehab, knowing that we have a Christian ethos. We do not discriminate against any one that wishes to come for help. We go on the streets of Middleborough, Sunderland and Newcastle helping all in need.

MENTORING SECONDARY SCHOOL PUPILS. PASTORAL/CHAPLAINCY/EMOTIONAL LITERACY SUPPORT WORK IN SCHOOLS, DELIVERING LESSONS ON ASPECTS OF CHRISTIAN FAITH WITHIN THE RELIGIOUS STUDIES PROGRAMMES OF SECONDARY AND PRIMARY SCHOOLS; SPEAKING AT SCHOOL ASSEMBLIES, PRESENTING A CHRISTIAN STANDPOINT ON CURRENT ISSUES; RUNNING AFTER-SCHOOL CHRISTIAN CLUBS; ENCOURAGING CHRISTIAN STUDENT GROUPS IN SCHOOLS

The advancement of the Jewish Religion by the maintenance of religious services and hebrew and religion classes, other activities to promote the welfare of the Jews of Oxford and its surroundings, and other charitable purposes not inconsistent with these objects.

Love & Joy Ministries advances the Christian faith through the medium of music, dance and drama and by demonstrating the Gospel through practical help to the most vulnerable in the community,including homeless children,young people,excluded groups and the elderly.
