Religion Charities

Funds for church projects are raised by volunteers providing refreshments in the church hall - usually on Sunday afternoons during the summer. Second hand books and bric/brac are also sold.

We have continued to make donations to various charitable organisations as well as continuing with our church based activities.

Raises funds for Primary & Nursery School

THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF THE COMPANY IS TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION WORLDWIDE BY ENCOURAGING THE PROCLAMATION OF THE GOSPEL, MEETING HUMAN NEEDS, ESTABLISHING NEW CHURCHES, AND ASSISTING THE CHURCH WHEREVER FOUND TO FULFILL ITS OWN VISION.

The object of the charity is to beautify and assist in the maintenance of the fabric of the Parish Church of St. Bartholomew, Crewkerne.

To advance and promote the Christian faith. To provide regular church services on Sundays and Wednesdays. At the Wednesday meetings a time is set aside to share healing experiences based on the teachings of Christian Science. Our reading room is open on weekdays for the public. An annual free public lecture is given based on Christian healing.

Assisting the PCC to repair and maintain the fabric of the church

AS THE COHERENT VOLUNTARY MANGEMENT TEAM, THE SAMAJ PROVIDES SUPPORTED FACILITIES AND SERVICES BOTH CULTURALLY AND RELIGIOUSLY TO THE COMMUNITY, AND PROVIDE ACTIVE FACILITIY OF DAY CARE SERVICES FOR OLDER MEMBERS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH WARWICKSIRE COUNTY COUNCIL.

Furtherance of the orthodox Jewish faith

The Woodlands Village Hall provides a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Marchington Woodlands and the adjascent villages and hamlets. The hall is available for public and private events. It provides, with the exception of the village church, the sole community facility in the Parish of Marchington Woodlands.

To raise funds for the school

Raising funds to support the education of children at Langley Fitzurse Church of England Primary School in Kington Langley, Wiltshire.

We are a community centre and provide a venue for local organisations and groups - art groups and exhibitions, church, bridge, cinema club, amateur dramatics, wedding receptions, meetings, social gatherings, craft & needlework.

The Charity offers cash grants to individuals and organisations that will tend to facilitate education in accordance with the principles of the Church of England. The Charity mainly operates in the parish of Christ Church, St Mary Magdalen and St Peter & Paul, St Leonards on Sea or in the wider Borough of Hastings.

Study, share, elucidate and make available for the benefit of the public the tradition of non-dualisitc Hinduism as expounded by the South India Saint-Seer Sri Ramana Maharshi.

Maintenance of the fabric of the church

Church House, Crowcombe, provides in its medieval Gallery a venue for exhibitions, courses and social functions. A Meeting Room is also available for smaller events, including educational.

Support West Ham Parish Church, London E15

Undertaking necessary work to ensure the building is in good repair and remains open for worship and other events, for the benefit of the community.

Fundraising for the upkeep of the fabric of St Mary's Church, Doddington.

We fundraise throughout the academic year to buy resources to enhance the learning provision of the children at St. Bede's school.

Golborne Mosque Trust carries out a range of activities for its members and local community. The main activities are: prayer services; the trust runs five daily prayers and Jummah prayers throughout the year.Ramadan: facilitating congregational prayer services and free daily iftar.Social gathering for events such as Eid celebrations, funeral prayers/memorial and spiritual counselling.

The Friends of Plaxtol Church raises funds to help maintain the fabric of the Church.

Furthers the education and religious education of young persons under the age of 25 years in the parish of Thurcaston with Cropston in Leicestershire
