Religion Charities

The Kingshill Friends Association organises fundraising and fun events for the children and parents of Kingshill Church School. We also solicit funds from the wider community of Nailsea and use money raised to benefit the lives and education of all children in the school.

WE SUPPORT THE FABRIC OF LYMPSTONE PARISH CHURCH. RECENT EXAMPLE INCLUDE: RE-ROOFING, A NEW CHURCH NOTICEBORD, RENOVATION OF OLD PLAQUES IN THE CHURCH.

To support the Parochial Church Council of St Nicholas Church, Brighton in the advancement of the Christian religion and in particular the preservation, repair, restoration and improvement of the Church, its fabric, embellishments and churchyard.

TO ADVANCE THE CHRISTIAN RELIGION WITHIN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND FOR THIS PURPOSE TO ARRANGE AND PROMOTE MEETINGS LECTURES AND ADDRESSES FOR AND UPON RELIGIOUS EDUCATIONAL SOCIAL AND INSTRUCTIVE PURPOSES AND SUBJECTS INVOLVING THE PROCLAMATION OF THE CHRISTIAN GOSPEL.

Our Association provides services to Hindu ethnic community in Southend and District area connected with community cultural activities. The service is in form of arrangements of cultural, religious and charitable activities for the benefit of the Hindu community as well as others in the City of Southend.

The provision of items, services and facilities for Farnsfield St Michael's Church of England Primary (Voluntary Aided) School.

St Hilda's has an active beaver, cub & scout section providing activities and friendship for girls and boys aged 6 to 14 years.

Supporting the children at Northill CE Academy by providing items for use in the classroom and extras like funding coaches for trips and christmas activities.

Managed by a group of volunteers, St Martin Parish Hall is maintained for use by members of the public on a self-sufficient basis. Regular hirers include: Church meetings/fund raising events, polling station, private childrens parties. Unsuitable for indoor sports or concerts. Provides funds for the PCC of St George's Church, Hyde for the upkeep of the church grounds

The Village Hall Committee maintain and operate Welbury Village Hall for use by its residents and individuals who use the hall. The hall is used by the WI, Parish Council , Parochial Church Council for meetings and events plus regular social and fitness classes and it is available to rent for parties etc. by residents and other groups.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF PUPILS AT BURFORD C OF E PRIMARY SCHOOL

Fundraising by means of concerts, talks or other public events, seeking donations and occasional sale of appropriate merchandise in order to maintain and improve the fabric, ornaments, fittings, furniture and monuments of the Church of Saint Andrew, Chew Magna, and to support the worship within that church.

House of Worship

The Powerstock Hut Management committee is responsible for the operation of the hut as a local resource available for letting to local people and the adjacent Powerstock C of E School. The committee oversees the maintenance of the hut and keeps accounts for the receipt of income and expenditure on running costs.

To provide financial assistance to needy people who reside in the Parish of St Andrews Church Bebington, as the parish boundary was defined in 1873.

To support the upkeep and maintenance of St Lawrences Church Hungerford.
