Raises money for the maintenance of the fabric of St Michael's Church Up Marden.. Additionally to promote religious ,cultural, historic and charitable works to encourage interest in the church.

Friends of St Nicholas Church are dedicated to supporting vicar & church wardens, in maintaining church building & contents.All Applications by the PCC for Funding to be made to FSN to consider before a contract is agreed, or work commenced. If the FSN agree to fund a project either in full or part an invoice for the agreed sum to be submitted to the FSN for payment direct to contractor/supplier.

In general supports Evangelical Christian work. Though other national charities are supported from time to time.

FUNDING EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AT ST MARTINS DORKING

Raise money for the children of Scalford Church of England School through various fund raising activities. Money raised pays for children to attend school trips and for additional enrichment activities or equipment for them. The charity provides funds to support building projects at St Peters C of E (Aided) Primary School in Cowfold

Provides meeting place for local organisations, eg WI, Parish Council, Local Brass Band practice venue. A communal place for the village to meet for social occasions. Also a venue for private hire for parties, Funeral wakes, meeting of Church Societies etc. The Parish Hall committee also holds various fund raising events each year including, Annual Scarecrow Competition etc.

Raises funds for Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.

The principal objects of the trust are to help advance the Christian faith worldwide, to relieve those in need in the United Kingdom and elsewhere and to support other charitable objects as the trustees shall determine. Donations are generally given to a local church fellowship, other local Christian work, Christian workers within the UK and for charitable training and resources.
