Religion Charities

The Charity pays grants to an Organ Scholar. Also considers requests from the Vicar. Meets twice a year to discuss grants to schools regarding Religious education.

The objectives of the Society are to encourage a wider appreciation of music amongst those who live, work, worship in or are visitors to central London. To this end, the Society presents a regular and varied programme of recitals and concerts at its home base of Holy Sepulchre Holborn, also known as the National Musicians' Church.

To raise money to assist children in school

UPKEEP OF ST MARTINS CHURCH DORKING AND CHURCHYARD

Supports the Anglican Chaplaincy at Birmingham University and Christian mission among students attending establishment of further education in or near Birmingham.

Provision of white household goods and/or alleviation of debt for clients in need, referred to us by professional caring agencies.

Distribution of funds from rented land.

The Charity supplies facilities for the use of the Village and the Parish Church.

CHURCH OF ENGLAND CHURCH USED FOR RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES.

Financing and promoting Christian activity within the Sheffield area.

TO SUPPORT THE ACTIVITIES OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND IN HORNSEY

To raise funds by membership subscription, donations and from organising charitable events for the purpose of maintaining the structural integrity of Sedlescombe Parish Church.

The charity owns a property which it lets out. Net income generated is given as grant(s) to the Parish of Christ Church, Brixton Road to further their activities.

1. Providing such special benefits of any kind not normally provided by the LEA for a school in or substantially serving the Parish of St James Selby.2. Providing financial assistance to any charitable organisation in this area engaged in the education (including social, physical training & religious instruction consistent with the Church of England) of persons under 18 years old.

Pays for or contributes to maintaining the fabric of the church and the adjacent Church House

To support the religious activities of the congregation of Saint Nicholas Church in Fyfield

To provide financial assistance to the poor and needy amongst the congregation and associates of St Thomas's Methodist Church, Belvedere Road, Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire and residents of the neighbourhood and community which this Church seeks to serve.

The Trust's primary purpose is to support the Sir George Thalben-Ball Memorial Organ Scholarship at St Michael's Cornhill in the City of London. Other grants are given to young organists/church musicians (not singers) from any country, who are studying in the UK.

Small parish community social centre licenced for 100 people. Activities include, whist drives, quiz evenings, wakes, childrens' parties etc., general hall hire with all facilities included, Church meetings, harvest suppers, Christmas events - bring & buy sales, fund raising events for the village hall.

Extract from the Trust Document dated 29.10.1964...the Trustees shall apply the income.......for the benefit of poor women with a preference for poor women members of the congregation assembling for religious worship at the chapel known as the Old King Street Chapel in Cairns Road in the city of Bristol:........
