The company's principal activity is to promote, assist and advance the work of the Church of England in the Diocese in Europe.

Carmelite friars serve the community, directing a large retreat and conference centre at Aylesford, Kent, running parishes in Llanelli & Faversham a university chaplaincy in York and a number of more specialised apostolates.

The College of St. Barnabas was established in 1895 to provide retirement homes for Anglican Clergy, Church Workers, Readers licensed by a Bishop and their wives and widows. In 2005 those in communion with Church of England are included. There is also a care wing for those requiring care and medical support. The full objectives of the Charity can be found in the Memorandum of Association.

The Circuit produces a preaching plan to ensure regular acts of worship take place at each of the Methodist Churches and Local Ecumenical Partnerships in its geographical area. These are open to all people, without charge.

Torah Vodaas is a boys primary school. The school's objectives are to provide on a non profit basis religious and secular education to children of priamry school age primarily for members of the orthodox Jewish community.

Propagate Christianity through Christian meetings, seminars, conventions, crusades; theological education; evangelical training; counselling, sponsoring of programmes for the relief of neglected, poor and the elderly; publications distributions of books, audio and video tapes.

The Liberal Jewish Synagogue maintains a place for public religious worship, provides and conducts religious services, provides religious education for children and adults, facilities for the solemnisation of marriages, civil partnerships, mixed faith blessings and also for burials and cremations. The Synagogue also facilitates and encourages inter-faith activities.

The charity acts both as a Property Holding Trustee for church property and investments of churches within the Synod and holds the financial information of the Synod's activities.

The charitable work of the Society includes:a) the promotion maintenance and support of the Society and its members including the education of those membersb) the relief of poverty and c) the advancement of the Roman Catholic religion

Camp Simcha exists to improve the quality of life for Jewish families affected by serious childhood illness. It provides a variety of services to help and support these families.

The core purpose of the Bristol and South Gloucestershire Circuit of the Methodist church is to be a Discipleship Movement Shaped for changed. We do this through 4 key areas, Worship, Learning and Caring, Evangelism and Service.

The promotion of the efficiency of the RAF principally by, but not limited to:the maintenance, repair and improvement of St Clement Danes Church;supporting the day-to-day running of the Church including the holding of services and all its religious and charitable work;for the benefit of past, present and future members of the RAF and other Air Forces deemed to be associated with the RAF.

The primary activity is the meeting for teaching of the bible, praise and prayer. The charity also provides for work with children of all ages on Sundays, after school, and in school holidays. It supports the mission of the church through prayer and financial support of partners. It also supports a number of trainees at theological college.

School providing education in accordance with doctrines and principles of the Roman Catholic faith to children between the ages of 3 and 11

Objectives a) the provision of maintenance and repair of places of worship, hostel accommodation and facilities for pilgrims; b) the promotion of public worship; c) the advancement of religion and relief of poverty anywhere in the world. The charity operates the Pilgrim Bureau, a hostel for pilgrims, and the Slipper Chapel at the site of the Walsingham Shrine as well as shops and a cafe.

The formation and training of men and women for ordained ministry in the Church of England and the Anglican Communion, together with the training of youth workers and pioneer ministers and the provision of continuing education for clergy and laity
