Religion Charities

Charity is purely for the general expenses of St Chad's Church, Bishops Tachbrook.

For poor of parish of St Andrews Church, Plymouth.

General charitable purposes

We discuss issues of relevence to the area, particularly community relations. We arrange house groups. We support Christian Aid. We organise worship and study. We hold prayer breakfasts. We organise a Festival Cafe. We give grants.

REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF ST MARY'S CHURCH, TEDBURN ST MARY

We are a place of worship and we give Donations to other charities such as Water Aid and Save the Children also Framework, an organisation for the homeless. We gave to UNICEF for the Ebola crisis.

CHURCH OF ENGLAND CHURCH

The charity's main activity is fund-raising for new and replacement facilities for the children and young people of the village. With the help of the local authority the tennis court has been refurbished and turned into a MUGA - this is well used. Funds have been raised for new picnic tables etc. A local youth football team train on the field and a sports day is held annually.

REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE OF ST MARY'S CHURCH, TEDBURN ST MARY

The charity funds two Bible prizes to year six pupils at Wheldrake with Thorganby C of E Aided Primary School. The pupils who enter have to learn and then recite two Bible passages and answer questions.

For the upkeep of the Hewett family graves within the graveyard of St. Peter's Church, Netherseale and general upkeep.

The charity provides funds to Clutton Church of England Primary School, part of The Samara Trust.

INCOME TO BE APPLIED FOR ORNAMENTING THE PARISH CHURCH OF GRANTHAM.

Upkeep of Cranborne Parish Church and local relief of poverty

Provides a meeting room for activities related to the Parish Church

Provides for maintenance repair & renewal of fabric of St. Michael The Arch Angel, Compton Martin church & church room.

Supports Winterslow C of E (Aided) Primary School

The Banbury Bluecoat Foundation issues school clothing vouchers for children of parents on income support or the equivalent. It also makes grants to Church of England Sunday schools and to other educational activities in the town.
