Religious Activities

The JLGB trains and develops young people of the Jewish faith to reach their potential through active citizenship, within both the Jewish and wider community, empowering them to become future leaders of tomorrow. The JLGB removes barriers to participation by providing positive activities and experiences that meet the religious and cultural needs of the Jewish community.

The London Buddhist Centre teaches meditation and Buddhism in a way that is relevant to contemporary western life. It is a non-proselytising public centre, open to all, with no expectation of Buddhist interest / involvement. The Breathing Space programme run by the Centre teaches Mindfulness Based Approaches to help prevent relapse into depression and addiction and to manage stress and anxiety.

The charity makes grants to charitable institutions whose objects are to advance religion in accordance with the Orthodox Jewish Faith and for educational purposes and for the relief of poverty.

inHope provides food, shelter and hope to those most in need, motivated by the Christian faith. Seeking to accept whoever comes to us and through meeting practical needs, we build trusting relationships though The Wild Goose, Spring of Hope, Life Recovery our Trussell Trust Foodbanks and through partnership working locally and nationally. Over time we see people move-on in their lives.

To promote Jewish religion, education and social welfare by establishing, maintaining and supporting synagogues, schools, scholarships and charitable services by providing funds, either directly or by way of grants.

Our charitable objects are to advance the Christian faith and our mission, in accordance with the faith and practice of the Church of England, care for the Cathedral building and pursue other charitable purposes that further those two purposes.

The South East Northumberland Methodist Circuit advances the Christian faith by providing worship, teaching, mission, and pastoral care. It resources local churches, offers buildings and facilities for community use, supports children, families, and older people, and works with others to serve the wider community.

Edge Ministries exists to promote the Christian faith, and to preach the Gospel by starting Edge Centres and church communities in forgotten and deprived areas primarily across the UK. (Edge Ministries was formerly known as Good News Crusade).

Trust Deed constitutes Bnois Jerusalem School, and its objects are to provide education for girls on the Orthodox Jewish Community.The policy of The Bnois Jerusalem School continues to be to derive its income from donations from various institutions and grants from The Learning Trust.

Our vision is to see vibrant, Bible-believing Christian communities in Latin America, impacting their neighbours, their societies and the wider world. We work in partnership with churches to send and receive individuals, families and teams to share the love of God by caring for street children, training church leaders, supporting university students and generating employment opportunities.

Provide for the relief of poverty or the advancement of education, health, arts culture and science, amateur sport and the advancement of the Roman Catholic faith through the making of grants.

- Provide a place of worship- Education includes religious studies, traditional methods of worship and cultural activities.

The advancement of education for the public benefit of Muslims in the United Kingdom, who face disadvantage when accessing educational support by means of but not exclusively by grants,bursaries and scholarships and mentoring programmes.

Islamic endowment management

Our charity also runs: 1. Muslim marriage registration. 2. Muslim funeral service. 3. Adult education. 4. Female activities. 5. Full-time secondary Islamic school. 6. Supplementary school.

GLO works in partnership with local organisations in Central Africa (Burundi), to help people, providing financial, logistical and advisory assistance. Main focus is evangelism and discipleship through churches and schools, printing and teaching materials, fighting AIDS, street children and orphans, and encouraging an informed dialogue between different ethnic and religious groups.

Religious activities

BRF is a Christian charity. Our vision is to enable people of all ages to grow in faith and understanding of the Bible and to see more people equipped to exercise their gifts in leadership and ministry. BRF's ongoing work is delivered through four defined areas of charitable activity: Anna Chaplaincy, Living Faith, Messy Church and Parenting for Faith.

Bilton House aims to provide an excellent standard of residential and dementia care within a caring Christian ethos, for elderly and frail people who can no longer fully care for themselves.

HCC sow food, clothing and aid to people in need locally, nationally and in Europe and Africa either directly or in association with other charities in pursuance of its humanitarian aid programmes. These outreach activities complement HCC's objectives and policies as listed in the Trustees Report. HCC does not fund raise and relies entirely upon donations

TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR RECREATIONAL OR OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION FOR THE INHABITANTS OF KEIGHLEY AND SURROUNDING AREAS; 4. TO PROVIDE RELIEF AND CHARITY AID TO THOSE IN NEED.

The primary objective of Bishop Hannington Memorial Church PCC is the proclamation of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the doctrines and practices of the Church of England. The PCC has the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent in promoting in the parish and beyond the mission of the Church.
