The Church of St Nicholas, Dersingham is part of The Church of England whose mission is:- To proclaim the good news of the kingdom. To teach, baptise and nurture new believers. OUR MAIN FUNCTION IS TO ADVANCE THE HINDU RELIGION ACCORDING TO THE TEACHING OF LORD SWAMINARAYAN SET OUT IN THE SAMPRADAY SCRIPTURES.THE OTHER AREAS INCLUDE : HEALTH AWARENESS; PROVIDE FOR SCHOOL RELIGIOUS EDUCATION VIA SCHOOL VISITS TO THE TEMPLE; MOTHER TONGUE TEACHING; CULTURAL / ARTS / SPORTS ACTIVITIES FOR THE YOUNG, THE ELDERLY AND THE DISABLED; PROVIDE ADVOCACY, ADVICE AND INFORMATION.

Huntingdonshire Community seeks to be more than simply a church. We aim to provide services to the community through a toddler group, children's and youth activities, to help to those with debt problems, charity give-away events and other activities.

The charity runs a House of Formation to train missionary priests for the Diocese of Westminster. It also supports pastoral activities carried out in the UK and abroad by the students in formation, by the staff and by the priests who have been ordained: evangelisation, catechesis, liturgical ministry, assistance to families, to elderly and housebound, hospital chaplaincy, etc.
