Religion Charities

The charity publishes and distributes books and other materials which are true to the bible and which communicate the gospel, develop discipleship and strengthen the Church for its mission in the world.

We support, advance and encourage the study and practice of Buddhism and mindful living in accordance with the teachings of meditation master Thich Nhat Hanh, in the UK and overseas, in keeping with the Five Mindfulness Trainings of the Order of Interbeing (Tiep Hien). We assist and encourage the formation and activities of regional and local groups having this common purpose.

The charity carries out the principles and teachings of Shree Swaminarayan founded and ordained by Shree Swaminarayan bhagwan and performs religious and cultural activies within these principles.

The charity promotes the Sikh religion through operating a temple of worship and a Punjabi supplementary school which teaches about Sikh history and religion and teaches the Punjabi language.

Teaching the Bible as God's key instrument for proclaiming Jesus Christ as Lord. Public worship open to all. Promotion of the gospel through evangelistic events. Pastoral work including visiting the sick and the bereaved. Provision of Christian activities for children and young people. Provision of activities for parents and toddlers. Supporting those promoting the gospel in the UK and overseas.

The church is committed to making known the love of God in our community and beyond in practical ways. We seek to discover God's Kingdom and we place a high value on both the teaching of God's Word and openness to the Spirit. There is something for everyone within the activities and worship of the church. We have active youth and children's programmes and events for older people too.

Religious Activities

Hope Church Orpington is a charity whose objectives are the advancement of the Christian faith and the relief of hardship. In addition the charity operates a church based at five sites in the local area offering a range of activities and pastoral support to both church members and the wider community.

Religious and charitable activities in and around the Parish of Christchurch

Provision of a place of worship, religious activities and support. Arranging communal events and activities. To carry out a wide range of activities in pursuance of its charitable aims where the Board consider these activities are of benefit to all those who worship at and identify with the synagogue.

There was quite a considerable maintenance of the building and services undertaken through out the year. The trend will continue in the coming years.A number of children's and youth activities were carried out during school summer holidays. A Scout Group operated from the Centre, run by dedicated volunteers and supported by other similar Scout Groups.Primarily, a place of worship.

Everyday Church launched in 2013 when three existing churches chose to join together as one church in three locations. Since then we have launched new congregations in London, as well as online services every hour through the week. We also run courses and groups designed to help people grow in or explore faith, as well as social action projects to benefit the communities we serve.

The establishment & maintenance of a mosque ,Islamic Community Centre and Education Centre to cater for all the religious , educational and social needs of the Muslims of Enfield and surrounding boroughs.Also to be a Centre that excels in providing the true message of Islam to non-Muslims & working with other faiths to create tolerance , peace & harmony in the society as a whole.

The charity raises funds to further Orthodox Jewish religious education. It distributes its funds to a Torah Talmudical College and grants bursaries to Rabbinical students.

The Institute for Jewish Policy Research engages in research projects, the publication of papers, reports and on-line newsletters, and the organisation of conferences, lectures and seminars.

B)TO ADVANCE THE ISLAMIC RELIGION IN THE UNITED KINGDOM AND THE WORLD FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE HOLDING OF MEETINGS, LECTURES, AWARENESS.

ORGANIZES RELIGIOUS, CULTURAL, EDUCATIONAL, SPORT, RECREATIONAL AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF NAVNAT VANIK COMMUNITY IN THE UK AND ABROAD WITH EMPHASIS IN THE GREATER LONDON AREA. DONATES TO OTHER CHARITIES IN UK AND ABROAD ON A REGULAR BASIS AND PROMOTES THE JAIN AND HINDU RELIGIONS.

To advance the Christian faith, to relieve sickness and financial hardship and to promote and preserve good health by the provision of funds, goods or services of any kind including through the provision of counselling and support. Also to advance education.

THE PROMOTION AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF ISLAMIC FAITH PARTICULARLY BY ESTABLISHING AND OPERATING AN INSTITUTION.

The primary object of the charity is to raise funds for and make grants to Kupat Ha'ir, Israel. The objects of this charity are the relief of poverty and the relief of the aged, feeble and infirm amongst persons of the Jewish faith in any part of the world, and in particular in the town of Bnei Brak, Israel.
