Religion Charities

Limmud is a unique model of cross-communal, grass-roots, volunteer-driven Jewish learning and leadership development. Volunteers and participants come to our educational events from all walks of life, age-range and connection to the Jewish community. We aim to enable each person to go "one step further on their own Jewish journey" and make their contribution to the community.

Promoting the whole mission of the Church:Regular public worship;Pastoral work;Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses, small groups and religious assemblies in schools;Children and youth work;Promotion of Christianity through events and meetings;Distribution of literature;Activities for senior citizens and parents and toddlers; Supporting other charitable work in the UK and overseas.

The objectives of the charity are to support and advance the Christiam faith by means of the function of the church as the pillar and base of the truth of the faith revealed in the Bible.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE ORTHODOX JEWISH RELIGION, THE ADVANCEMENT OF ORTHODOX JEWISH EDUCATION AND EDUCATION GENERALLY. THE RELIEF OF POVERTY, OLD AGE ILLNESS, BOTH MENTAL AND PHYSICAL AND THE RELIEF OF PERSONS SUFFERING FROM DISABILITY.

The Principal Objects of the Charity are a) The advancement of the Orthodox Jewish Religion b) The advancement of Orthodox Jewish Religious Education and education generally c) The Relief Of Poverty Among Persons Of The Jewish Faith

Christian activities for all ages. Involved in sharing the christian faith within the local community. Assisting christians in other countries through practical suppor.

Provision of learning to Quakers and others to advance the Quaker faith and enhance understanding of social and spiritual matters.

The furtherance of the Christian faith through the running of local churches in and around the East Midlands and the Mediterranean. This includes social enterprise projects, such as Community Grocers, to serve our local communities.

To relieve poverty or financial hardship among widows and widowers and their dependents by providing grants to individuals and families in need .Promoting good health by providing support to recently bereaved families in the form of counselling and financial assistance.Advancing Judaism by ensuring that children in families where one parent dies receives basic assistance for their future

New Testament Assembly charitable purposes are to provide religious education/training and social activities to inform, empower and serve well its diverse constituency. In so doing we endeavour to be environmentally friendly and prudent with the funds amassed.

The Charity holds regular church services in Peterborough and other towns in the UK in order to spread the word of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ on Earth, to proclaim the Gospel of Salvation, baptise and Heal the sick and to prepare people for the rapidly changing world enabling them to improve the socio-economic situation by utilising resources within their reach.

THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT, BY MEANS OF, BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY, SUPPLEMENTARY CLASSES, FACILITIES FOR NURSERY EDUCATION.TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, DISTRESS AND SUFFERING AMONG POOR PEOPLE, VICTIMS OF NATURAL DISASTERS AND OTHER PEOPLE IN NEED BY PROVIDING GRANT FUNDING AND DIRECT DISTRIBUTION TO THOSE IN NEED.

The charity's objects are, A. To advance the religion of Islam. B. To advance education. C. To provide facilities for recreation & leisure-time occupation.

SUPPORTING AND FUNDING ANY SCHOOL OR EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION OF THE ORTHODOX JEWISH FAITH INCLUDING PROVIDING MEALS AND INCLUDING ASSISTANCE WITH TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THESE EDUCATIONAL ESTABLISHMENTS.THE RELIEF OF PERSONS IN NEED WHO ARE TEMPORARILY HOUSEBOUND OR WHO FOR WHATEVER REASON ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE MEALS FOR THEMSELVES BY PROVIDING KOSHER MEALS FOR SUCH PERSONS.

The advancement of the Orthodox Jewish religion,Orthodox Jewish education and education in general, relief of poverty, sickness and infirmity.

MRDF undertakes its work through diverse activities including research and publishing programmes, corporate retreats and development programmes, organising conferences, seminars and lecture tours and analysis of news, information and media material.

As one of the regional Synods of the United Reformed Church, the Mersey Synod is primarily concerned with the maintenance and mission of the churches in its province. This includes the acquisition of new church properties and disposal of redundant properties, calling ordained ministers and lay preachers and developing ecumenical relationships with other Christian Churches.

GENERAL CHARITABLE PURPOSES MAKING DONATIONS TO CHARITIES SUPPORTING EDUCATIONAL NEEDS AND FIGHT AGAINST POVERTY, AS WELL AS ORGANISATIONS PROMOTING THE JEWISH FAITH IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OR IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD.

Provision of supported housing to individuals with long term mental health problems. Personal Assistant Service to adults with mental health problems.A warden service for Service Users living at our properties 128 Westcotes Drive, 16 St James Road and 25 Church Street.Accommodation for homeless women with or without children until they secure their own tenancy.

The Circuit produces a quarterly preaching plan to ensure regular acts ofworship take place at each of the Methodist Churches and LocalEcumenical Partnerships in its geographical area. These are open to allpeople, without charge.We confirm the trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit.

The principle activity of the intitute is to promote Islamic studies/education and research of the Holy Quran and the Shia Ithna Asheri Jaffery Faith.
