Religion Charities

The PCC's charitable objective is primarily focused on the advancement of religion. All regular public worship is provided free of charge and open to all. In addition, Buildings open to the public. Support, encouragement and practical help for those who request this. Teaching is provided during services, music events open to all, small groups where faith is discussed.

Proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ through word and action including; Regular public worship open to all. Promotion of Christianity through the staging of events & meetings and the distribution of literature. Pastoral work including visiting the sick and bereaved. Teaching of Christianity through sermons, courses and community activity. Supporting other charities in UK and abroad.

General church activities, including toddler groups, counselling and outreach and community events.

Promote encourage and provide finance for religious education and social welfare both in the United Kingdom and worldwide

The charity operates in the UK , working with the public, charities and voluntary bodies. It promotes unity between Christian denominations and tolerance and understanding between religions world-wide. It makes grants, provides venues, education, conferences and seminars. It runs outreach and interfaith activities and carries out pastoral care, worship services, marriage blessings and funerals.

Activities include: prayer, worship,bible study, children's activities for those aged from babies to 11 years, youth activities for young people aged 11 to 19 years, mentoring support and developing social skills in young people including young carers and young parents, missions work both locally and overseas and activities for seniors.

Public church services and public concerts. Providing educational experiences both to the boys in the choir and the general public through their music. They regularly appear on television and lead acts of worship in many venues in the UK and sometimes abroad.

CHURCH OF ENGLAND CHURCH IN ALDGATE, LONDON

1.To provide relief to the poor and victims of natural and other kinds of disaster anywhere in the world.2. To advance the teachings of Islam as per the teachings of the Ahlul Bayt hence promoting religious harmony and respect for different faiths and beliefs.3. Advancement of education in social and economic affairs4. Achieve (2) and (3) by commissioning TV programmes and other media

The charity provides support for the Christian Coptic community

Intended activities are advancement of Islamic religion through dialogue, meeting, education, seminars and publications.

Indian Muslim Welfare Society (IMWS) is based in Batley, West Yorkshire. IMWS ownes a 4 1/2 acre community enterprise centre called AL-HIKMAH CENTRE. IMWS offers education/training opportunities, healthy living initiatives, sport/recreation/childcare/women and youth facilities. The centre is an ideal venue for conferences/weddings and other events and attracts over 200,000 centre users each year.

The charity provides benevolent assistance to members and former members of the Regiment and their dependants who are in need and makes grants to individuals and units within the Regiment to promote military efficiency. It supports the upkeep of Regimental memorials and chapels and maintains the Regimental chattels. It provides support and assistance to service leavers, veterans and families.

The charity provides Islamic and national curriculum education to children and young people. In order to achieve this the charity provides up-to-date modern buildings, good lecturers, modern equipment, friendly environment, best facilities and open space.

TO PROMOTE AND PROTECT THE MENTAL HEALTH OF INDIVIDUALS, PARTICULARLY BUT NOTEXCLUSIVELY OF THE ORTHODOX JEWISH FAITH, THROUGH A) PROVIDING A CONFIDENTIALHELPLINE SERVICE TO SUPPORT PERSONS WHO ARE EXPERIENCING FEELINGS OF DISTRESS ORDESPAIR B) RAISING AWARENESS AND PROVIDING INFORMATION ABOUT MENTAL HEALTHCONDITIONS AND HOW TO MAINTAIN GOOD MENTAL HEALTH. C) OTHER ACTIVITIES THATPROMOTE

The Charity was registered in June 2019 but had not commenced operation by 31 December 2019. The intention is that the charity will pursue its objects in advancing the Christian faith in accordance with its Doctrinal Basis of Faith and other consistent charitable purposes in Reading, elsewhere in the UK and overseas. It will engage in worship, teaching and providing practical social facilities.

As a Roman Catholic Missionary Institute, the Claretians work in Parish Ministry, Retreat Ministry and fundraising for supporting Claretian missions in developing countries.

The charity seeks to demonstrate and advance the Christian faith in action by being a local church in the South West of London particularly working with the Sri Lankan community and also working in Sri Lanka and Europe in evangelistic and teaching ministries.
