Religious Activities and service to the community

The members of the church are seeking to a build a vibrant, Christ-centred community with a vision for extending God's kingdom through worsip, prayer, study of the bible, preaching, discipleship,and reaching out to the local community with the love of God through a variety of activities for people of all ages..

To worship God, mature believer's and show the love of God to the local community and beyond. To help practically where there is need, both inside and outside the church.

To advance the religion of Islam in accordance with the laws dictated in the Quran, the Sunnah and the Hanafi Sunni school of thought and beliefs, as per the institution of Ahle-Sunnat-Wa-Jama'at.Provision of facilities and services including but not limited to:-Daily congregational prayers-Education & development-Nikah services-Funeral services-Promote harmony & counteract extremism

The activities of the PCC, mainly provide promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the Church areprimarily focused on the advancement of Christian faith, which is recognised as a charitable purpose havingpublic benefit. All regular Christian public worship is provided free of charge and open to all.

The parish is a religious community. The objects of the Charity are the promotion of the religious life of the Parish and the promotion in England of the tenets of the Russian Orthodox Church and generally Orthodox Christianity

Advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination. To help people find Christ and grow as His disciples.

Prayer services held twice daily, where discourses, aarti, kirtan, dhun and stotras are performed. All persons are welcome to the services.All religious festivals are celebrated with enthusiasm.Learned Sadhus from India visit the temple and hold special discourses.Promoting the faith to new and young members is achieved through Youth Services and Gujarati classes, which are well attended.

The principal pupose of the charity is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination to include the advancement of education, community service and such general purposes in such parts of the United Kingdom and the world as the Church shall determine.

Place of Worship

BHCT is a Christian Chaplaincy specialising in crisis intervention and search and rescue at the notorious suicide spot of Beachy Head. In addition to cliff edge intervention the charity is also involved in preventative and post-intervention support. Those rescued travel from all over the UK and also from abroad. Our vision is to end suicide at Beachy Head.

The charity supports the religious and charitable works carried out by the members of the community and cares for those members throughout their lives with the charity. The charitable work includes: care of members; choral worship in a chapel for members of all faiths; hospitality and pastoral care to retreatants; and religious art in order to educate and to add beauty to worship.

Supporting not-for-profits with an annual income of £1 million or less working with the diverse Muslim communities living in the UK.- Activities include events, advice sessions, signposting and bid writing service.

Our Vision Statement is to be 'The Family of God in the Presence of God displaying the Glory of God'. Activities include Sunday worship, a variety of children and youth ministries including Treasure Chest parent & toddlers, Me & Dad and Sunshine & Rainbows (group for bereaved parents), regular Alpha courses, Marriage courses, support for overseas churches and for members church- planting abroad

THE CHURCH IS CONSTITUTED UNDER A TRUST DEED AND IS A REGISTERED CHARITY. THE PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES OF THE CHURCH IS THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH WORLD WIDE AND THE RELIEF OF POVERTY.

We have opened our purpose built Islamic Centre and are now open for daily prayers. Alongside this we have also started a supplementary (evening) school for children to learn about Islam and the Arabic language using modern textbooks. We happily host local schools and volunteer groups to learn more about Islam and we hope to provide further services to the community.

Parish Church

Public corporate worship, including the preaching and teaching of the Bible according to Reformed Evangelical doctrines. Promotion of public and private prayer and Bible study. Evangelism among all age groups. Provision of pastoral care and support. Maintenance of church premises. Promotion, through organisations and inividuals, of the world-wide proclamation of the gospel of Christ.
