We are a Spiritualist Church and hold regular weekend evening services, open to the public as well as our members. In addition special events are held on an ad hoc basis to which the public and membership are able to attend. These provide information on Spiritualism, the philosophy and proof of life after living death. Spiritual healing is also available twice a week.

We are a self-help educational and social organisation for retired and semi-retired. We offer a range of groups and activities such as: music discovery; french; spanish; book club; french reading; law, art; art appreciation; Upwords; Mah Jong; Rummikub; history; architecture; poetry & plays; film club; science & technology; philosophy.

We are affiliated to the Spiritualists National Union (SNU) and, as such, we operate in accordance with the SNU Rules for churches and our religious philosophy is based on the 7 Principles of Spiritualism.We organise regular church services, all of which include the demonstration of mediumship to prove the survival of the human soul.In addition, offer spiritual Healing.

To advance the religion and the religious philosophy of Spiritualism based on our Seven Principles We do this by Divine,Open Circle, Healing and Development Services, ladies guild, all open to general public.Our church serves the local community we have open days for all to attend. Healers visit patients at home and in hospital, Ladies Guild raises funds for our church and the local community.

The underpinning philosophy of Willing and Abel is 'See the one; love the one'. Although we cannot possibly cope with every needy child in the world, we can show love and practical help to the one that has been made known to us.We do this by helping to find, and usually fund, transport, pre-op care, operations, aftercare and education for each child/family, as the Trustees consider appropriate.
