The Association's aim is to advance the eduction & training of graduates in medicine, dentistry and related arts and science and to promote medical and dental research. It provides money to help with equipment and maintenance of the Education Centre, which is now a multi-educational centre.

IFHS promotes the science of surveying at sea and related sciences by providing a channel for the exchange of information between those engaged or interested in hydrography or related disciplines.The charity publishes regular journals and arranges seminars, conferences and other relevant events. It also operates and Education Fund to assist students and those at the outset of their careers.

The Academy is an information and education charity that exists to encourage the study, imrpove the practice and advance the knowledge of Forensic Sciences in Science, Medicine and the Law.

The Charity is a church which holds Sunday services, midweek meetings and Sunday School for students up to the age of 20, all of which are open to the public. Educating the public in the Art and Science of Music by the rehearsal of choral music, the presentation of public concerts and other charitable activities.

The promotion and advancement of the knowledge of the history of scientific artifacts and their preservation.

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of choral music in all its aspects by the presentation of public choral concerts and recitals and by such other ways as the Society through its commitee shall determine from time to time.

The BSS promotes all matters relating to sleep medicine and education to professionals involved in the field. Two influential scientific meetings are run annually.

The principal activity of the 'SLTC' is to assist and encourage the application of science and technology to the manufacture and utilisation of leather and related products and by the publication of journals and the holding of meetings, to further the development of scientific knowledge in the leather industry.

The object for which the trust is established is the promotion, support and advancement of charitable purposes of all kinds and in particular of education and research in all or any of the natural sciences.Donations are focused on activities which benefit the people of Norfolk. The charity gives women the opportunity of working together & to develop their education. Bursaries are given to attend Denman, the NFWI residential college where arts, crafts, sciences and home economics are taught. Weekly and monthly activities are enjoyed by members. Tai Chi, Country Dancing, Book Club, Drama are some of the activities in which we are involved.

The Liverpool Society of Anaesthetists organises a series of educational meetings throughout the year. These include clinical and scientific lectures relevant to the field of anaesthesia, small symposia themed to a particular area of anaesthetic practice (inc. critical care and pain management topics), and a competition for trainee anaesthetists to encourage research in the field of anaesthesia.

Provides travelling fellowships to support international educational exchanges by scientists involved in grassland-related research and allied agricultural science. Supports grassland-related education through sponsoring seminars and occasional speakers at conferences.
