The Objects of the charity are:- to provide funds for any charitable purpose, or purpose relating to the National Health service; to relief of sickness by promoting the efficient performance of their duties by staff; for the relief of patients treated by Stockport NHS Foundation Trust ; to further the aim of advancing scientific or medical research and for staff development.

To support research into the causation nature and treatment of patients with testicular cancer and other forms of malignant disease, particularly prostate cancer. Having built a laboratory with the Institute of Cancer Research there is a greater element of research into prostate cancer. The Bob Champion Research and Education Building was opened at the Norwich Research Park in February 2015.

Action Duchenne campaigns and supports research for a cure for Duchenne and Becker Muscular Dystrophy. Duchenne is a severe and progressive muscle wasting disease that leaves young people paralysed and facing early death by late teens. The Charity has launched a Registry for Duchenne patients to help to progress Clinical trials.

The advancement and promotion of medical research, education and the dissemination of results. The establishment, maintenance of scholarship grants, fellowships, research grants and prizes awarded to scientists and other persons engaged in medical research or related sciences.

We make STEM education and careers less intimidating, diverse and inclusive - using robots, mentors, accredited content, epic competitions, and industry judged awards. We support less represented 12 to 18 year-olds in schools and community groups across the UK to design, build, code, and compete with a robot to take on a global challenge.

The objectives of the FSBI shall be to encourage, promote and support all branches of fish biology and fisheries science and conservation.

Science Discovery Centre and Museum

The charity runs a school which provides education to children based on a curriculum inspired by the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner. The school is a non-selective, independent co-educational school for pupils aged 3 to 11.

ORP is on a mission to protect sea turtles and their habitats. We do this through rescue and rehabilitation of injured sea turtles, scientific research, and education and community outreach.
