YBTC is Yorkshire's leading brain tumour charity dedicated to raising funds for life changing research and patient support.Our vision is clear and simple, to cure a devastating disease that affects so many people. Whilst we are working to find a cure, we will provide the best patient and family support network we can.

Medical charity - assisting with research and provision of facilities, equipment and advice

The APAGBI is a medical charity supporting paediatric anaesthesia in the UK and Ireland. The charity holds an annual scientific meeting and a linkman meeting. It supports travel to the third world for educational activities, research, guideline development and education for consultants and trainees.

We are the national charity for people experiencing Glycogen Storage Disease, their families and carers as well as for medical professionals working in this field. As the UKs main charity in this area, we support people with the disease, promote research and raise public awareness of GSDs.

The Institute provides or facilitates lectures, courses and classes in art, music, science and literature. A library of over 100,000 volumes is also available for the use of members.

The Thackray Medical Research Trust is responsible for delivering the objectives of the governing document including support for the Thackray Museum of Medicine in Leeds.

To provide support for worthwhile activities within Imperial College of Science Technology and Medicine ("The College") including to provide support for high quality research projects being undertaken at the college.

The main activities of the charity are are to relieve the needs of those affected by DHDDS Disease to support families affected by DHDDS mutations and drive research into them.
