We run school's technology competition yearly. We hold engineering related talks in the winter period, September to April. We give award to Anglia Ruskin University top engineering degree student. We promote children taking STEM subjects.

The Society's objects are the practical study of archaeology, natural science, art, literature, history and kindred subjects as far as they pertain to Anglesey, also the preservation of historical documents, ancient monuments, rare birds and plants and objects of geological or other scientific interest in the Island, and to foster public interest in and appreciation of these subjects.

To promote, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of choral music in all its aspects, by presentation of public choral concerts and by such other ways as the society through its committee shall determine from time to time.

To promote the truths of the Bible as explained in the writings of Mary Baker Eddy.

Our church is a branch of The Mother Church. The First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts. We hold Sunday services at 11am - also a Testimony meeting every first Wednesday of the month at 7.30 p.m. Our Reading Room is open for half an hour before each service. The general public and visitors are warmly welcome.

The purchase of works of art or other objects of archaeological historical or scientific interest for the benefit of the public in the permanent collection maintained by Reading Borough Council

To promote the art and science of Music by presentations of concerts and other activities. To raise funds and support any charitable trusts, associations and institutions, local and national and make any charitable donations as the committee shall ,from time to time determine.

Metchely Park Medical Society promotes and supports postgraduate medical education and the advancement of academic research of, and amongst, medical and senior paramedical staff of NHS hospital trusts and primary care providers in South Birmingham

The Leonardo da Vinci Society provides a forum for those interested in Leonardo or aspects of the culture of his time to which he contributed. The Society's interests also extend to the Art/Science overlap in other periods. The Society holds an Annual Lecture, publishes a Newsletter and holds Symposia on relevant topics.

We are a self-help educational and social organisation for retired and semi-retired. We offer a range of groups and activities such as: music discovery; french; spanish; book club; french reading; law, art; art appreciation; Upwords; Mah Jong; Rummikub; history; architecture; poetry & plays; film club; science & technology; philosophy.

To enable women who are interested in issues associated with rural life including Arts, Crafts and Science to improve and develop conditions of rural life. To advance their education in citizenship in public questions, both national and international in music, drama and other cultural subjects, branches of agriculture, handicrafts, home economics, health and social welfare.

The charity's activity is to promote,improve,develop and maintain public education in and appreciation of the art and science of music, in particular choir singing, by the presentation of public concerts and recitals.

Church services Sunday School. Meetings for testimony of the saving and healing power of God on our lives. Talks on Christian science its teachings with relevance to our lives. Maintaining a room for private study of the bible and the Christian science text book "science and health with key to the scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy and publications of the church all activities free and open to all.

The charity seeks to enhance the understanding of the function of the microcirculation in health and disease, to advance the study of the flow of blood and other tissue fluids especially in the smallest vessels and or matters related there to. It encourages the exchange of knowledge and ideas through the interaction of international scientific conferences which the society holds every 2 years.

The promotion of the preservation and protection of life and property in the air, in particular the safety of flying personnel and aircraft. The promotion of the research into and the study of the science of meteorology and its application to aviation by the awarding of prizes and awards to nominated personnel.

Research development and education in medicine. We are helping fund analysis of data which will help towards better understanding of hypothyroidism.

Currently;Studies into genetic factors influencing brain tumour risk and prostate cancer undertaken by The Institute of Cancer Research.Studies or Grants given for research and training into Adult Congenital Heart Disease.
