The conservation and preservation of the former Royal Navy sloop HMS WELLINGTON as part of the nation's maritime heritage, the education of the public in the history of the British and Commonwealth Merchant Services and, the importance of seaborne trade to our island nation. An educational programme is in place for KS 1 & 2 children, a Secondary School Programme and a Sixth Form STEM Programme.

Raise funds to assist research into childrens disease

Promotes, organises and supports expeditions for the exploration of developing regions of the world for the purpose of advancing knowledge of, or research into, or for the purpose of educating individuals in the geography, history, archaeology, sociology, economics, ecology and geology of their regions.

In the interests of social welfare and to improve conditions of life for the inhabitants of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. Noah's Ark Pre-School provides stimulating and enjoyable surroundings for children aged 2.5 - 4 years and works towards the Governments National Early Learning goals. It assists in the development of communication and language, literacy, mathematics, personal, emotional and social development, understanding the world, physical and creative development. This is achieved through play and teaching.

Provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time in Gainford Village Hall and tennis courts.Arts, culture, heritage and science pursuits, amateur sport and other general charitablepurposes for the inhabitants of Gainford. The village hall facilities will be used by local community groups,such as a local history group, a community choir, parent and toddler groups, & a lunch club

As at 31 March 2023 the school had a total of 78(2022- 64) students varying in age from 5 to 18 and including some English based children. Total of twelve classes are held each Saturday consisting of Japanese and Mathematics lessons. All pupils successfully completed internal examinations and attendance was maintained at over 80%. Hold extra time lessons such as history, science and GCSE.

The Bone Research Society is a charitable organisation that brings together scientists, clinicians and other parties who have an interest in research into the causes, developments and treatments of diseases of the mineralised tissues of the body. The prediminant focus of the Society is bone disease and osteoporosis is the most prevalent of those.

To promote public interest in and the science of the breeding of Arabian horses; to advance education for the benefit of the public about horses, horse welfare and Arabian horses in particular; to promote and facilitate the acquisition and distribution of knowledge in all countries of the history, care and treatment of the Arabian breed.

Support for those affected by Myelodysplastic Syndrome, ("MDS"), which is a rare blood cancer. We provide: national & regional meetings with specialist speakers, a website & newsletter, campaigning for access to treatment, a networking service for MDS patients to share experiences & support; cooperate with all UK MDS clinical experts; support clinical trials and research into MDS.

1. To promote the relief of sickness of persons suffering from all forms of cystitis, overactive bladder and bladder incontinence. 2. To advance education of the general public & medical profession into the causes & treatments of bladder illness and the impact on quality of life. 3. Promote research into the causes and treatments of all forms of cystitis, OAB and bladder incontinence.

Provide Christian Science Reading Room activities at events and on-line throughout the UK.

Raising awareness, funds for research and support for everyone with mitochondrial disease

The INPDR aims to increase understanding of Niemann-Pick Disease through the collection of patient data on a global scale. It will encourage efficient and timely diagnosis, improve understanding of disease progression and influence patient care, whilst supporting global research efforts, facilitating recruitment of clinical studies and supporting development/access to new and emerging therapies.

Promote - science & technology particularly to children of all ages and the public understanding of science to all.

The primary object of the charity is to encourage assist and extend the academic and research activities of all members of the medical, dental and allied professions practising within the area administered by Whipps Cross University Hospital.

The object of the Society is the advancement of public educationin the field of applied philosophy and the publication of itsproceedings to the end.

The BSPS holds an annual conference with invited speakers and contributed papers, and monthly meetings at which invited speakers present papers. It makes grants to support conferences relevant to research and education in its areas of study and awards annual studentships for doctoral work in philosophy of science in a UK university. Other activities are decided by the committee from time to time.

The principal aim of the Charity is to provide support to encourage young adults from lower income backgrounds who are deterred by financial constraints from exploiting their potential by continuing in to higher education in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.The Charity also supports the promotion of science within the wider local community.

Activities to support the student experience such as social and sporting events, academic enhancement and student advocacy.

The charity helps save lives by supporting the ongoing research into breast cancer, and contributing to the further understanding of the disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment by supporting ground-breaking research programmes.
