Climb 2 Recovery (C2R) supports chronically wounded, injured, and sick veterans through fully funded adaptive climbing programs. Since 2016, C2R has delivered over 1,100 annual training days at just £105 per person per day. The Trust maintains a museum of firefighting in the Greater Manchester region. It manages a collection of fire engines, equipment, uniforms, medals etc, which is open to the public. The operation is run entirely by volunteers. Working in partnership with the Fire and Rescue Service, it also operates a dedicated education programme for schools.

The charity teaches people to swim, offers life saving, water polo, long distance and open water swimming, and competition swimming to national standard. Dover Lifeguard Club is an accredited swim 21 club.

Mountain rescue activities ,predominantly in the Ennerdale, Buttermere and Loweswater areas of North West Cumbria, in the Lake district and further afield if required. To maintain a fully operating rescue team that can be available 24hrs per day 365 days a year.

The charity provides a volunteer search and rescue service to members of the public in distress on the North York Moors, Howardian Hills, Yorkshire Wolds and in any other such place as requested.

Grants are awarded to voluntary groups throughout the North West, who provide sports, leisure and health orientated activities for young people. These groups include local sports clubs, scouts, youth clubs and children with special needs. We also provide grants for other charities involved with mountain recreational activities such as footpath repairs, mountain rescue and air ambulance.

Raising funds for life saving defibrillators across Norfolk, Suffolk and the UK. Placing 24/7 public defibrillators in communities, outside schools, clubs and small organisations. Providing free CPR and Defibrillator Training for the community and training in schools, starting from 5 years old. Giving talks at voluntary groups and raising awareness of how important early CPR and defibrillation is.
