Charitable Funds depend on publc donations and fund raising activities held by First Responder groups. General Funds continue to support staff retirement gifts & functions along with training and recreational activities. Lancashire & Cumbria First Responders are actively involved in continuous fund raising in support of medical equipment for services performed in the community.

A) ADVANCING AND PROMOTING EDUCATION AMONG THOSE IN NEED ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD (B) THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD(C) PREVENTION OF SICKNESS AND IMPROVEMENT OF HEALTH;(D) THE RELIEF OF FINANCIAL NEED AND SUFFERING AMONG VICTIMS OR NATURAL OR OTHER KINDS OF DISASTER IN ANY PART OF THE WORLD

The Trust provides grants to projects designed to fight crime and the fear of crime in Greater Manchester.

The main purpose of the charitable funds held on trust is to apply income for any charitable purpose relating to the National Health Service wholly or mainly for the services provided by the North East Ambulance Service

All food given out by foodbanks is donated.Supermarket Collections are one of the main ways that food is donated. Care professionals such as doctors, health visitors, social workers, CAB and police identify people in crisis and issue them with a foodbank voucher. Foodbank clients bring their voucher to a foodbank centre where it can be redeemed for three days emergency food.

To promote the physical and mental health of children and orphans in India in particular Darul Uloom Kantharia Gujarat, India and across India through the provision of financial assistance, support education, accommodation, food and medical care and to work towards relief of financial need and suffering amongst victims of natural disasters

We raise funds for the relief and assistance for the victims of war, conflict or natural disaster, through the provision of food, clothing, bedding, medical aid, accommodation, access to water and sanitation. This includes supporting an orphan's programme and a prosthetic limbs clinic. In particular for, but not limited to the benefit of people in Syria and surrounding countries.

Children living in the world's most dangerous and poor places are at risk of poverty, exploitation andabuse. The advancement of physical education of schoolchildren through the medium of swimming, life-saving, diving, water polo and synchronised swimming by:(a) promoting and organising contests, conducting tests and making awards; and(b) promoting the provision of proper facilities for swimming, life-saving, diving, water polo and artistic swimming.

Our objectives are to relieve the sufferings among poor, victims of natural disasters and others in need, by providing the life's essentials.And to advance education for the benefit of underprivileged by assisting in the provision of educational activities and facilities. Also to advance the knowledge of Islam in accordance with the Quran and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammed (Peace be upon)

The Cave Rescue Organisation is based in Clapham in North Yorkshire and provides the cave and mountain rescue service in the Three Peaks area of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and also extending westwards into Lancashire and Cumbria and eastwards as far as Malham and Gordale.The CRO is a charity run by volunteers, and depends on public donations for its finances

Climb 2 Recovery (C2R) supports chronically wounded, injured, and sick veterans through fully funded adaptive climbing programs. Since 2016, C2R has delivered over 1,100 annual training days at just £105 per person per day. Climbing aids emotional regulation, self-esteem, and mindfulness while fostering camaraderie and purpose. Dr. Lucy Sheen-Harker describes it as life-changing and life-saving.

The charity focuses on the provision of a competitive swimming environment which is open to all equally, irrespective of difference. We offer Learn To Swim sessions through to national competitive level for all ages. We are committed to ensuring this life saving provision is delivered in a professional, safe environment and complies fully with the requirements of Swim England
