The charity provides financial assistance to serving and former members of the Metropolitan Police Staff and Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime and their families or dependants who are in need as a result of poverty, sickness, hardship or distress.

This is a Christian church providing a place to worship for the community, with provision for outreach, giving, including to promote Christian work in the local community and overseas, as well as some disaster relief and support for local food bank.

Lions Club of Truro provides financial and service support to individuals and other charitable organisations in the Truro area. The Club donates to Lions International to help with emergency and disaster appeals. Funds are acquired through regular book sales, annual Crystal golf competition. We are a small, experienced rescue service operating in Norfolk rescuing and rehabilitating wild and exotic animals. We are dedicated to providing the best possible treatment for any sick, injured and orphaned wildlife that come into our care, whether that means caring for it ourselves or transferring it onto another facility. We work closely with a network of other specialist organisations.

NSART is a group of highly trained volunteers working alongside Nottinghamshire Police to search for and rescue high risk missing vulnerable people, including people with dementia, suicidal and children.NSART is available 365 days a year; 24 hours a day free of charge. NSART is associated to Lowland Rescue and UKSAR.Mutual aid to other UKSAR teams, Police, Ambulance and Fire services.
