Supported sheltered housing for elderly

Courses and study facilities in meditation and Buddhism. Yoga and tai chi. Visits to and from local schools and colleges. Information resource to the public with access to library. Day retreats and group for carers. Meditation courses designed for coping with depression and chronic pain. Open days and arts events. Celebration of Buddhist festivals. Financial support to practising Buddhists.

Support children and young people with disabilities and their families by providing advice, information, respite and recreational activities.

In addition to our own Sunday activities we support our congregation with regular bible study, prayer groups and training activities. For children we have Sunday Club, a playgroup and support for a number of out of school activities. we strongly support our local schools, care homes and our community in many different ways. We host a winter night shelter for the homeless with other local churches.

A Day Centre & attendant services for the elderly of St Neots & District under Cambridgeshire Social Services; a Luncheon Club for retired persons falling outside Social Services parameters; Studio facilities for the local Talking Newspaper For the Blind; premises for low cost rent to other charities & non-profitmaking organisations; welfare relief for those who cannot obtain help elsewhere.

A local independent church with activities for church members and wider community including: parent & toddler group; counselling; Boys & Girls Brigades; Kids Church; youth club. Charitable work locally includes helping the homeless and vulnerable. Additionally the church supports initiatives abroad including orphanages in Uganda and India and aid projects in developing countries.

Education/Training. Relief of poverty.The main aim of the charity is to maintain the Happy House Project. It is a home for children, many of whom have been orphaned, neglected, beaten, abandoned and abused in many ways. The charity provides for these children kindergarten and primary education at Sue Hayward's Happy House School and secondary education at local high schools

The objects of the charity are to assist ZANE (charity no 1112949) in the provision of assistance to those destitute and trapped in Zimbabwe. It also supplies UK charitable support to the Borradaile Nursing Home Complex in Zimbabwe.It supplied charitable support to the Community Emergency Food bank (CEF) in Oxford until 23 September 2013, when CEF was established as a charity in its own right

Faith Welfare Trust promotes the welfare of disadvantaged and/or destitute children and young adults. It also supports disadvantaged children and young adults in their education and training. To do this it funds 2 children's homes (boys and girls) near Chennai (Tamil Nadu) and a school in Rajahmundry (Andhra Pradesh) where free places and lunches are provided for needy children.

The Foxhall Centre is a centre providing day services for older people living in Ipswich and the surrounding area. It provides essential services which are greatly valued by its current members It provides a ground level day centre facility which includes facilities for a range of services to support older people and who live within the local community to remain independent as long as possible

Care for the elderly in care homes, work in schools, help in English and Polish parishes giving support to the parish priests and the communities. We work with children, teenagers and anyone who requires our help and support. We also give spiritual and practical support to the migrant families who have just arrived in the United Kingdom and require help adapting to life in Great Britain.

Provision of premises where service users can attend and participate in educational or entertainment activities in a supportive environment.Preparation of items to sell in a charity shop onsite.Organised trips out in the community.Fortnightly operation of an evening social club which users can attend for a small fee.Fundraising by jumble salses, raffles and other items.Student placement.

Promote understanding of all aspects of brain injury.Provide information,support and services to adults with brain injury and their families with the initial intention of providing day care services in Stafford and Tamworth.

We raise funds in the UK to support partners in the development and delivery of palliative care in Kenya. We work closely with the Kenya Hospice and Palliative Care Association and local organisatioins. Due dilligence and monitoring is carried out on all grants. Recent grant funding has been for children's palliaive care projects, gender disparity projects, home care, training & morphine.

Christians In Action operates in two main ways. In the the church in London we work with children, youth and adults to help them to become mature human beings who can be of service to God and to the community.We also forward support to workers, mainly overseas and funds for projects such as orphanages and a day care centre for children as well as a home for the elderly.

The charity relieves poverty and sickness, educates and preserves health for Romanian children and adults. The charity cares for orphaned or discarded children. To promote the relief of elderly people in anymanner which now is or hereinafter may be deemed by law to be charitable withinAttleborough and District (hereinafter called the 'area of benefit') and in particularto provide a day care centre in order to benefit people who are elderly or disabledand to provide their carers with respite..

Our objectives are to promote the welfare of elderly & disabled people of Calderdale. We do that by providing a day centre which is used by a number of groups with the majority of the members being either elderly or handicapped in some way.

The charity's work is carried out principally through the Convent in Mill Hill which includes a Registered Care Home and supports the work of the Congregation's members in the community. The work is also performed in various ministries throughout the Country where work includes care, counselling, spiritual direction, visitations and therapy.
