The charity is a place of worship and communinty centre for the city of leicester and we have a day centre for the elderly along with educational institutes visiting with their students.We also cater for the disabled groups who also attend the charity .Also registered with the marriage register to conduct marriages in the chatities worship hall.

We support children and young people with additional needs and those living with difficult life circumstances such as, young carers or those who have suffered a family bereavement, by providing access to outdoor activities, recognising the mental and physical health benefits. Additionally we aim to support their families and carers by providing respite breaks.

The main activities of the CIO are the provision of courses and projects utilising historical and heritage related themes for people living with mental health issues, dementia, or experiencing isolation or loneliness. The CIO also provides activities for young people to learn from their peers, and also to provide training for carers on reminiscence therapy techniques.

Church services & house groups for worship, learning, mutual support in Yeadon and surrounding areas. Pre-school group for carers and toddlers. We give money & support both locally & across the world for outreach, development and disaster relief. We put on outreach events in the community, teaching events for Christians and provide premises for local community events and churches.

The charity gives grants to other charities to achieve its objects. The main project is in Burkina Faso where the charity has given grants to a local charity . The charity has also started giving grants to a Turkish based charity running an orphanage for Syrian children . who are victims of ongoing political unrest and civil war inside Syria. UK public donations is the main source of income.

The Cottage Community is an independent registered charity providing a day centre and hot meals, lunch clubs, activities, transport and shopping trips for elderly and vulnerable clients, resident in the our catchment area. Generally speaking our catchment area is the rural communities between Sevenoaks and Dartford and Gravesend.We have been providing services for over 65 years.

Whitewell Bottom Pre School is a small rural Pre School offering full day care from 9.00 - 3.00 term time only. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curricula and are registered with Ofsted. We employ 6 members of staff on a full and part time basis.

We are a place of worship. We have regular times of prayer and worship. We also seek to provide support and respite to the community. We do this by providing food, clothing, counselling and family support.

Providing a day care centre for the elderly and those with disabilities

Providing Day Care services for the Older People from the MultiCultural Communities within the Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames, Surrey ~ and from Neighbouring Boroughs ~ particularly the provision of meals, social activities, and recreation for their health and wellbeing ~ as well as support and advocacy services for our Members, and on their behalf to their Carers (Family, Relatives, Etc).

This charity supports the work of the Albanian Christian Centre and the New Beginnings Children's Home both situated in Tirana, Albania. The former proclaims the Christian Faith and seeks to live that faith in the communities it serves. The latter provides a home for up to 13 children who are either orphaned or have come from an abusive situation.

The object of the Charity is to relieve the social, emotional, mental, physical and educational needs of carers and families in the county of Essex, through the provision of support, person and group centres interventions, advice, guidance and signposting to other services as appropriate.

Our aim is to provide support and companionship for the independent senior citizens of Cookham and the surrounding areas. We are a Day Centre where members come to share the company of others in a happy, fun and safe environment, to have a cooked lunch and to have the opportunity to enjoy stimulating physical and mental activities and be entertained by musicians and other live artists.

Harrys Pals provides emotional support to parents of children who are severely ill or disabled. This is through the provision of counselling services, respite breaks and support through an online community of parents. Harrys Pals also campaigns for change to improve life for carers and people affected by disability.

Services offered include home visiting service,cookery/handicraft/social and computer skills sessions, hold a monthly book club. We have a resource centre with specialist equipment. Produce a newsletter and a talking newspaper. We provide information to access benefits/allowances/health care services and assistance with paperwork. People can self-refer or use our drop-in/telephone enquiry service.
