We provide sheltered housing for the elderly with priority given to local residents or those who have relatives living locally

Essex Road is a vibrant Nursery and reflects the diversity of Islington. We are open Mon - Fri term time only from 9am - 3pm. Operating a double session and full day care. We have out door space with permanent climbing structure and room for freeplay. All four members of staff all with NVQ3 qualifications. We also have good links with other agencies.

Facilitating social inclusion activities with older people living in residential and nursing care homes, and community based wellbeing activities which also includes marginalised and isolated older people and their carers from their own homes.

To provide UK based respite breaks for families and carers whose child has been diagnosed with a childhood brain tumour; families whose child is terminally ill as a consequence of a childhood brain tumour; families who are bereaved as a consequence of a childhood brain tumour.2. To raise funds for future research aimed at pediatric brain tumours and more specifically ependymoma brain tumours.

The object of the charity is to relieve need amongst Sainsbury Veterans and former Sainsbury employees. Assistance is provided through the provision of physical aids, respite care and convalesence care. In the year 10 grants were made. The charity aims to reach as many potential beneficiaries as possible.

The charity provides accommodation for the elderly in ten bungalows or flats. It also provides grants to organisations and individuals. These may be in respect of the Religious Society of Friends, or any charitable objects connected with the town of Ashford in Kent, or to meet expenses of education or or for the relief of poverty.

Provides information on Cancer Research and its Genetic links and supports the purchase of Cancer Research equipment at the major Institutes and Universities in the UK. Support cancer patients and to provide respite and convalescence and advice on therapies to aid the recovery from cancer treatments.

Shiffa helps provide relief work abroad in general and specifically helps fund an Orphanage and Girls College in Pakistan.

Provision of Almshouse Sheltered Housing

We set up and run YOPEY Dementia Befriender partnerships. These are befriending partnerships between ourselves, schools or colleges and care homes. We inspire, train and support young people, known as YOPEY Befrienders, to befriend elderly residents, especially those living with dementia. We get positive publicity for our YOPEY Befrienders, ourselves and the other partners.

The relief of carers and former carers of people with physical, learning, mental or sensory impairment or illness or incapacity through old age.

The charity responds to appeals from various aid organisations who operate in this country and worldwide. It also funds outings for residents in care homes and nursing homes as well as assisting to finance the shortfall in the finances of these organisations.

An evangelical church in Eastbourne, holding morning & evening services each Sunday, & a mid-week prayer meeting. Before COVID-19 restrictions, we took services in four local care homes, had two regular home groups, a monthly Seniors' lunch, & youth group. We are part of the Countess of Huntingdon's Connexion. We support a missionary in Moldova, & various local, national & overseas Christian work.

Providing housing accommodation for elderly people.

The charity is restricted to work within the Ecclesiastical Deanery of Pickering. Its main function is to provide housing accommodation for elderly people in housing need who are already resident in the area.

Sunday worship services,Prayer meetings and Bible study.Youth work:Kidz church, Kidz holiday club, Boys Brigade Community action, the church runs a healthy eating Breakfast Club weekly,and the church works alongside Hospitality and Hope. Financial support given to an orphanage in South India and Compassion sponsoring 4 children in El Salvador.We also support the work of Mercy Ships.

A Church on the Gurnell Grove Estate in Ealing. Running weekly worship services, a weekly community cafe, a club in sheltered housing and regular social events and programmes, mission events and work parties to improve the estate.

TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY MEDICAL AND DOMESTIC CARE FOR PEOPLE IN THEIR OWN HOMES

We aid people who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm by:a. Providing day, residential care and,educational facilitiesb. To create a digital outreach programmec. Education of the medical profession and general public about complementary medicined. Researching, evaluate info about complementary therapiese. Client bursaries for the provision of complementary therapies.

We provide transport assisted day care for frail elderly on 4 days per week, and an informal evening setting for elders from the local Mirpuri, Pakistani and Kashmiri communities on 7 days per week.

To support persons suffering from bereavement or loss by providing counselling and other support. Relieving mental and physical distress and saving lives through contact, support, and holistic alternative care by providing retreat and respite centres, and promoting activities proven to benefit health. Relieving poverty and hardship arising from bereavement with grants of money and necessary items.
