A Day Centre for Latin American older people living in London. The centre provides English classes, Latin American folk dance, guitar lessons, drawings and painting in canvass, computer lessons, handy craft and jewllery, exercise sessions, sewing sesions, transalation of documents and phone translations, housing and benefits advice sessions and trips to places of interests.

Clients from Grove and the surrounding area attend our purpose-built Day Centre in Grove which is open every Tuesday and Thursday (excl. Christmas). We employ several part time staff and also have several volunteers. Home cooked meals are provided each day. Activities include supervised care, entertainment, arts and crafts, stretching or other gentle exercise and mental stimulation games.

Our charity provides social activities, respite assistance and information and help with everyday problems for our members with learning disabilities. We have a weekly social club for all members in the area from aged 18 upwards. We also operate a weekly allotment group and a 15-25 weekly activity group.

This is a charity that assists street children in Kenya by giving them either a safe house in which to live or in Foster Care (whichever is appropriate). It also ensures they are fed, cared for mediacally and receive an education to help them become valued members of society. The charity works closely with local people who are respected and have a heart for these deprived children

We take structured and interactive singing, activity and craft sessions into community day care centres, Age UK or council run and dedicated care homes supporting those living with dementia and offering respite opportunities for carers. Our sessions are unique in the fact that we approach every individual and make sure that everyone feels relaxed and at ease.

We aim to provide practical help, advice, support and information to people living in Selsdon and surrounding areas through a large network of volunteers. One of our major activities is to help the older members of our community to stay in their own homes for as long as possible by the provision of good neighbour type activities

Stories for Life records life stories face to face or remotely with those who are in the last chapter of life in a variety of settings; hospices, hospitals, care homes or in their own homes. Our biographers are specialist volunteers trained by us. Our phone service can include the recording of less formally structured conversations between family members/ friends of a different generation.

We enter partnerships with not-for-profit organizations, in Greece, who work with vulnerable children, such as orphanages and after-school community centres. At their premises, we offer classes in digital skills, by qualified teachers, whom we employ for this purpose. We provide the educational material and any necessary equipment, including laptops and robotics kits, all at our cost.

Provision of term-time sessional daycare, mornings only. Activities include freeplay with wide variety of toys both inside and outdoors, art & craft, music, dancing.

To provide Day Centre facilities for the Elderly and Respite Care Service. Mondays/Wednesdays/Thursdays and Fridays are generally allocated to "home bound" elderly who are transported to the Club by either Council's transportation or Community buses/taxis.On Tuesdays the club is allocated to Respite Care and those club mobile members who wish to attend.

Provision of affordable accommodation for elderly people.

The charity provides accommodation for the elderly (over 55) with low incomes, sheltered accommodation is not provided. The charity is a member of the Almshouse Association.

The prevention or relief of poverty, the relief of sickness and poor health or the relief of disability anywhere in the world by providing grants, items and services to individuals in need. In particular this will be achieved by, but not exclusively through, the provision of grants for holidays and/or respite care for young people.

The Association aims to support East Sussex Foster Carers and their families in their efforts to achieve the best possible outcomes for the children in their care, by working in partnership with appropriate statutory and voluntary agencies. It has developed a range of support, advice, advocacy, activities and training for their fellow carers, their families and Looked After Children.

BREAD raises funds and makes grants to projects run by the Diocese of Morogoro in Tanzania in four main ways: Berega Hospital (serving a wide surrounding area), Berega Orphanage, Berega Institute of Health Sciences (BIHeS) and Bishop Chitemo Primary and Secondary Schools. We also support various village related projects and elective visits by international volunteers.

Provision of day care services for older people living in Enfield, Haringey and Ilford areas.

The Society offers grants to families to prevent or relieve poverty where children and young people are in need, hardship or distress - to enable those children to achieve their potential and have the prospect of becoming useful in the world. Priority is given to children with no active parent or a mother only. Preference is given to children with family connections to the New Church.

The Trust provides grants and work with Respite and holiday organizations like Joined-Up Holidays, born of a desire to connect people with animals, nature and the natural environment regardless of anyone's special needs or disabilities. By offering farm visits with activities individually tailored to the needs and wishes of each guest

Provides Accommodation for the elderly in need in the parish of St. Peter's St. Albans

Better Action For Families (BAFF) deliver healthy group sessions to parent/carers, adults/children with learning disabilities their families and the community. BAFF also facilitate the Carers Reference Group for Leeds and support carers who volunteer for an independent project the Good Lives Leaders, who visit residential homes of adults with learning disabilities and submit a report to QCC.

Provide meals on wheels service to the elderly and operate a day center activities for all members of the ethnic community.

Comfort Zone is a holiday playscheme for young adults aged 11-25 who have severe learning disabilities. It is run at Mapledown School for students in school or have attended the school. Our focus is to give the students a place to go during holiday beaks, to have fun, and socialise with their peer group in a safe environment.

The Charity provides accommodation for elderly people in need. Gardening and general repairs are carried out in return for a weekly maintenance charge.

We aim to advance christian discipleship in India through the support of church planting, and the provision of schools, medical facilities, orphanages, widows refuges and other services to the poor and under privileged.
