THE PREVENTION OR RELIEF OF POVERTY OF VULNERABLE CHILDREN THROUGHOUT ENGLAND FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY SUPPLYING A HOLDALL WITH ESSENTIAL AND COMFORT ITEMS AS THEY ENTER FOSTER CARE, IN ORDER TO HELP THOSE CHILDREN HAVE A MORE POSITIVE EXPERIENCE AND ENSURING THEY HAVE A MORE STABLE AND SUPPORTED OPPORTUNITY IN THE CARE SYSTEM.

Provision of day respite care for the infirm

The object of the charity is to provide low cost sheltered housing to members of the town or parish of Welshpool who are over the age of sixty years and in need.

Caring for Joshua Hayday presented many challenges. Through the projects that we, JHHHT, support and the initiatives we work on, we hope to help families facing similar challenges. To benefit the inhabitants of the Ancient Parish of Holme Cultram as the Trustees think fit. The organisations vary but include, village halls, churches, schools and Residential Care Homes.

To provide an enjoyable social environment with ample support and transport from home to centre and return arranged. To provide a hot meal - main course and pudding and a variety of afternoon activities. Christmas party and Christmas meal arranged. Also at least two outings a year by coach and with a meal out to seaside or other places of interest.

For the relief of the aged and physically challenged persons by the provision of facilities for recreation or leisure time occupation for such persons resident in royston and surrounding areas.

Grange Welfare Association is a Charity for elders who's principal objective is to provide day care services for the elderly in the West area of Newcastle upon Tyne. It is supported by approximately 1,000 members and is the governing body of the Grange Day Centre and the Grange Welfare Club.

Weekly Memory Cafe and carers cafe at Greeno Centre.A buddy support system for families.Coach trips for members and their carers, plus boat trips for wheelchair users.Musical evenings and Christmas Carol concert.Weekly dementia choir sessions.Dementia care workshops.Fundraising world rocks against dementia concert.Tenth Anniversary Party for members.Afternoon tea for carers.

Holding public worship services.Holding Bible studies.Promoting prayer and fellowship and caring pastorally for the members.Providing a language class, parent and child group meetings, and a Sunday School.Conducting street evangelism to bring the Christian message to the community.Running monthly church service in a local residential care home.Sponsoring residential conferences.

The Daycentre provides a warm space, social interaction & freshly cooked lunches at moderate prices between 10am & 2pm every Tuesday and Thursday, for the local residents over 55. This is funded by rental of the premises to a variety of organisations for their activities with particular emphasis on groups supporting the over 55's eg Blind & Housebound & Alzheimer's groups.

MONEY FOR education ,ORPHANAGES AND THE POOR IN BIHAR INDIA

We support individuals with learning disabilities to play an active role in the community through partaking in life skills activities.Wigan STARS supports the training of our volunteers and members in first aid, food hygiene, safeguarding, equality and diversity amongst many others.We undertake a large variety of activities in both leisure & educational purposes within the local community.

In Romania the charity provides orphanages & poor communities with: funds, food, clothes, medication, helps fund building homes & bought an apartment to house girls from an orphanage on a program to help them become independent. In the Democratic Republic of Congo the charity has been working on an Education programme to assist children ranging from 5-19 years in different areas of the country.

Social and respite evening club for adults with learning difficulties.

To promote the relief of persons over 60 years of age by the provision of day care services for the benefit of persons living in Witney and surrounding areas.

The provision of day-care services for up to ten individual persons (members) with a diagnosis of dementia living in or near Kennington, Oxford on Mondays and Thursdays each week throughout the year including optional hot lunches, providing respite for their carers. Members are looked after by qualified staff assisted by volunteers in the safe environment of Kennington Methodist Church.

The Charity raises funds in the UK and applies the same exclusively to fund schools and NGOs operating and based in Nepal that work with children and young persons with disabilities. Currently the support is donated to a residential home for 50 children with disabilities, a school for children with severe needs, an ability development society working with young disabled persons and Autism Care.

As a recently established charity we are raising funds to create purpose built Respite Centres.In the past 12 months we have adapted our fundraising to accommodate Covid restrictions.Events included Launch party in Plymouth (just got in before lockdown) & sponsored walk. Many Activities were moved to online including - Raffles, Bingo, Quiz's & Selling donated items on our on line shop.

To enable and encourage seniors from all backgrounds in Bradford to meet and take part in various activities from group exercises, games, trips or celebrations to participation in monthly Friday Mass. Everyone is welcome to join our community and enjoy two course lunch twice a week when our seniors meet. Staff and volunteers are always ready to help and support our loved members of the community

The object of the CIO is the relief of those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health,disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage in such parts of the world as thetrustees shall determine and in particular, but not exclusively, by supporting the charitablework of Karibu Nyumbani Orphanage, Tanzania.

We sponsor the education of children in need to give them a future. Support capital projects including school buildings, access to water , solar lighting.Promote reading for pleasure project. Help children with school uniforms, stationery, clothing.Support the local orphanage and a Ugandan football academy.Promote projects to bring our Ugandan colleagues closer to self-sufficiency.

Gwennie's Getaways provides respite holidays to those living with Dementia and other forms or Alzheimers and their carer/s.

Pink Paws Cat Rescue activities are to care for, vaccinate and neuter all cats that come to our care. Our activities are available to anyone and we operate on a volunteer basis using individuals who care for the cats in their own homes with all expenses paid by the charity. Where possible all cats are eventually rehomed with suitable adopters.
