Social functions for the use of Foster Carers and the young people they look after.

Naree Shakti, operates projects which would enable Asian Women of all ages to benefit fully to make valid and considered choices on issues relating to their own lives. It also organises relevant social, educational, cultural activities to support the work of the centre. It provides health and social care activities such as yoga, keep fit, respite breaks and educational talks.

The day centre promotes the welfare of elderly people in Faringdon and district. We meet twice weekly to provide services (including freshly cooked lunches) and activities (such as outings, gentle exercise, speakers, games and similar) particularly aimed at elderly people identified by GPs and social workers as able to benefit from attendance at the centre.

To give financial support to the residents of Sunridge Court, an Old age home in London

Until December 2013 the charity met its objectives by running Lakenheath Village Home residential care home for older people.The home closed in December 2013 and since then the charity supports schemes that will benefit the inhabitants of Lakenheath and the surrounding area by making grants to individuals,making grants to other organisations,providing other finance and other charitable activities.

Provision of a holiday home for children who are resident in the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, who are in necessitous circumstances, have a disability or in need of convalescence

CLASP has organised a regular Day Centre, a visiting group, transport for visits to clinics and hopitals and a minibus service for charitable and similar groups in the communities of Clare, Stoke by Clare, Hundon, Ashen, Hickford Hill, Glemsford and Cavendish.

ADVRO provides funds for orphanages including few that look after disable children. It also funds for special classes for the underprivileged children who live in remote areas of Amparai district in Sri Lanka. ADVRO is planning to build an Elderly Care Home for the underprivileged at home. ADVRO carries out medical screening programs which provides advice on preventable deceases such as diabetes.

Provide support and education for people living with special needs and disabilities. Short breaks, residential respite weekends fun days for young carers and unpaid carers. Online and face to face training programmes/ workshops and resources to support people working or volunteering in the disability field.

Heart to Help supports Social welfare projects in India through a local partner such as Children's homes, Street Children feeding programmes, widows and women's destitute homes, Old People's Retirement home. Educational Schools for children particularly deprived children.

We operate a day centre two days a week providing various creative activities with an emphasis on art work such as painting and drawing.

Founded in 1880. In Behala, India it funds: an orphanage for 135+ boys between the ages of 4 & 15, educated & taught music; old peoples home; ENT/eye clinics.It funds in Bangladesh: Barisal - high & primary schools, boys & girls hostels, girls orphanage & a medical centre; Jobarpar - an indigenous sisterhood (CSS), oversees girls hostel & a play centre & helps in the diocesan primary school.

Memory Lane Cafe is a weekly meeting place for carers and cared for who are living with dementia. We also welcome those who have been bereaved by dementia. Based in Ipswich, Memory Lane Cafe is open from 11am - 3pm every Tuesday. Our mission is to provide opportunities for friendship, support, activities and a light lunch.

The main aim of the charity is to provide food and provisions for families whose children are receiving end of life care in their own homes, in a hospice or in hospital. The charity is a much needed resource in the community to address the need for immediate practical support for extremely vulnerable families.

Is currently working with families to support disadvantaged children in higher education and working with local hospitals to provide respite breaks for families with a child suffering with cancer . Based at a farmhouse in NE Suffolk.

We raise money through fund raising events to help children with life threatening conditions and their families. We also have a lovely Holiday Respite caravan for poorly children and their families to enjoy quality time together away from the hospitals.

From the proceeds from our charity shop in Keighley we support between 20 and 40 orphans with school fees and food every year. Every year we send 20ft worth of items to Zimbabwe. We have provided books to Mpfurudzi Primary school with reading books and computers and we have donated towards construction of a library. We are currently raising funds to build a children's home and learning centre.

The Charity provides Almshouse Accommodation for the elderly

Sounds of Life Trust is a Christian organisation, taking the good news of the kingdom of God to many people worldwide, by various ways, including preaching, crusades, children's outreaches, leadership training and the social gospel, bringing water and medical help to impoverished people, supporting orphanages and old folk's homes etc. To new Christians, we supply follow-up teaching materials.

The Day Centre's objectives are to provide a safe and welcoming club for elderly residents of Loddon and its surrounding villages

We make difference in the lives of Orphans and Vulnerable Children of Nigeria, ensures that efforts to Care, Support and Protect these children not only focus on their immediate survival needs, such as Food, Clothing and Shelter but also a long-term development needs that reduces their Vulnerability. We provide Good and Wholesome Education, Emotional Stability in a loving and caring Eenvironment.

We run a local day centre for older pensioners, some have disabilities. We open 2 days per week, 10.00am-3.00pm and aim to provide a cheerful and constructive day for members to meet, take part in activities and have a good lunch. We depend on volunteers and have two part time organisers.

The members of the charity are all volunteers and support the day centre serving lunches and being part of meals on wheels team. Centre members take part in many recreational activities to suit their abilities. Subsidised outings are arranged to the seaside and also stately homes etc.

The Lovett Foundation supports Children in Care and Care Leavers in, and around, Swindon, Bristol and Cardiff. We create relationships with the local council teams, in order to plan together how we can help financially. We are focussed on supporting young people in the transition from leaving foster care and education into independent living and gaining key skills to enter the job market.
