The Matthew Trust is a national charity for people with mental health problems and victims of abuse as they are amongst the most misunderstood and disadvantaged in our society. We give help for their everyday lives - for example - clothing, furniture and equipment to repair bleak homes, respite breaks for the family, child carers holidays, second chance education to encourage back to work or hobbi

To support and provide amenities/facilities for nursing homes providing care for the chronically or terminally ill. To provide or assist in providing nursing/respite/day/palliative care for such persons wherever they are. To assist in providing counselling and information to such persons and their families/dependents on cancer and other terminal illnesses. To promote research.

The main activities are: Communicating the relevance of Christianity ~ Inspiring hope for those with broken lives ~ Mentoring evangelists ~ Distributing resources to advance the Christian faith ~ Serving in churches, prisons, schools, rehabilitation centres and orphanages in the UK and abroad

Providing recreational facilities for people with special needs and/or limited abilities by providing cycling facilities in Bushy Park Hampton. Our users come either individually with carers/parents or from organisations such as Residential homes, Day Centres, Special Schools and other similar organisations. Our unpaid volunteers act as facilitators for the use of our more specialised cycles.

Provision of accommodation for elderly people connected with the Parish.

The relief of poverty, hardship and distress among children in Israel, up to 18 years of age, in particular but not by way of limitation those in care of Orr Shalom Children's Homes, who have been abandoned, abused or severely neglected, by the provision of such financial or material assistance as the trustees shall from time to time determine.

Victoria's Wish raises money by having events such as race nights, music/band nights, Tombolas, collections etc. we use the money by taking familes to events , giving grants for expenses that occur through the childs illness and providing short respite breaks for families.

We provide a social group for people with special needs in Mablethorpe& area for members to meet, socialise and have the oportunity to undertake a wide range of recreational and leisure activities. We have day trips and provide relief time for carers.

We fund Hospitals, Orphanages,homes for the elderly and bodies distributing relief to the needy and educational organisations, including schools, in Malawi.

We run monthly Family epilepsy support meetings in the local area, which are designed to provide fun respite care to children who are affected by epilepsy, as well as support meetings for adults who are similarly affected. Our charity educates adults via our professional Epilepsy Awareness Training Programme, which aims to raise awareness of how epilepsy affects people socially and at work.

Musicians in need due to poverty, social, economic or financial circumstances have benefited. 1 to1 health services have continued through the year with great success.Community Respite/ health courses with approx 100 wkly participants continue with success.Conditions range from depression, arthritis, CVD, COPD.Entertainment, music & health resources continue to be developed.

The charity provides transport, day care activities and meals for our Monday Club for 30 people. On Tuesdays and Fridays Lunch Clubs are organised and run by volunteers. Approximately 100 meals per week are cooked on the premises. Other social activities such as trips and celebrations take place throughout the year.

To provide subsidised accommodation for the elderly.

promoting self-efficacy, prosperity and social mobility by building on the skills and experience of Care Leavers, such experience to be gained by means of career development and creation and/or funding of opportunities (e.g. internships, work experience, shadowing etc), To advance education and to protect and preserve the physical and mental health of young people who have been in the care

The object of the trust is to promote the Christian Religion and to express it in care for the community through Social Action in the United Kingdom and abroad. In India we are supporting an orphanage and school.

Running a Day Centre once a week at Blunden Court, Bramley Surrey.For the Villages of Shamley Green, Wonersh, Blackheath and Bramley, and other outlying villages . Where the elderly, lonely,and disabled are given coffee, lunch, exercise and paid entertainment in warm, pleasant and comfortable surroundings. Giving the members company and those that care for them respite. Transport is provided.

To provide a holiday playscheme during the Easter and Summer Holidays for children with disabilities and additional needs aged 3 to 11 years and to provide respite for their families.

The charity will provide mental health support through counselling low-income families, children in need and children in care within the community. We will also provide educational support to statutory-age children and young people (Post 16). Providing vocational support as well as job skills opportunities. We aim to do this through the support of the local communities, counsellors and tutors.

To support Medical Institutions or Charities and Children's Orphanages and Homes of the City of Birmingham

The charity runs two ambulances which are used for in transporting patients to and from hospices, hospitals, etc. The charity also runs day care projects for the chronically ill.

KERALA CRAFTS WAS SET UP IN 2001 TO HELP PROVIDE AN ALTERNATIVE TO A LIFE OF POVERTY FOR MARGINALISED WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN KERALA, SOUTHERN INDIA. THE MAIN FOCUS IS ON SUPPORTING THE VIMALA WELFARE CENTRE & MALABAR MEMSAHIB WELFARE, PRINCIPALLY THROUGH SELLING FAIR TRADE PRODUCTS MADE BY THEM. PROCEEDS FROM SALES, TOGETHER WITH A SPONSORSHIP SCHEME PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR 3 ORPHANAGES FOR GIRLS.

Providing holidays and respite casre to those in need

We provide a welcoming friendly service with an aim to provide companionship, activities, a hot meal and lively entertainment. Transport can be provided within the Chippenham area.We are open from 10am - 3pm every Thursday.

South London Christmas Dinner is organised by a team of volunteers who work together to provide a special and fun-filled Christmas day, along with a most scrumptious dinner for young care leavers, aged between 18 and 25. As well as a Christmas dinner, guests are gifted presents and treats along the way.
